Money! Kids. Health

I can go on. And on.

I don't know that it's too much, but I worry about paying my bills the most. It's the last thing I'm thinking of before I fall asleep, I often have dreams about it, and it's usually the first thing I think of when I wake up.

Kids, grandkids, stock market, health, National debt, etc.

My kids....hoping they will make good choices as they become more independent....

My Dad... that he continues to take care of himself and that he will enjoy life again without my Mom.....

My 90 year old mother

My stock portfolio

Weight, my DD & SIL, grandkids.

My father--that he will be able to deal with losing my mother.

Our son, and getting the bills paid.

I worry most about my kids and if we are doing the right things when we make choices or take action. How much to push, when to back off, are they learning the way they should and what they should, are they healthy, should I check into any certain issues more in depth, are they happy and do they like themselves, are their friends good people... Yeah, definitely my kids. ;o) That is the first thing I think about in the morning, what distrupts my thoughts in the middle of the day, and the last thing I think about at night.

Finances

Makes me insane that I can't afford health insurance or a visit to the doctor, but I make out checks for payroll taxes to the tune of about 5,000.00 a month. For just two and a half of us!
And the govt is distributing trillions of dollars to companies that couldn't manage their finances in the first place. It's irresponsible and makes my blood boil!

My kids as they get older, I hope they will be good people make safe choices etc. My health, my mom & her health.

Usually before I fall asleep I try to say prayers and thank god for something in my life and to ask help for someone else who needs it (either someone I know or don't (homeless people etc))

I don't know why but I worry more about my health. I guess it's because I'm getting ready to retire and I hope and pray that I have some good years ahead without health problems.

I worry way to much about growing old. We weren't able to have children and we come from small families, I worry who will help us when we get old and when we won't be able to care for one another.

I worry about my Daughter and her kiddos. She is a single mom and has a rough time making ends meet and she has lots of responsibility...

I think I am worrying more now that I ever have done in my entire life. I worry about money, keeping a job and my family...not necessarily in that order.

Same as Ruthie,my GD and her kids,also a single mom.

Money..DH has HUGE medical expenses (partly covered by Medicare) but is uninsureable due to these pre-existing conditions. Thank God the house and the vehicles are paid for!

If you asked me what I worry about I would have many things. But when you ask about things I worry too much about I would have too say nothing.

I deal with most things head on. If I have something worrying me it is usually only until I can do something about it. If there is nothing I can do about something I don't waste time worrying.

Now I do get mad however. I am angry about the direction this country is taking. I am mad that my kids will be left to pick up the pieces. I am mad that their personal liberties are being taken away one by one and all that they work so hard for will be given to those that sit on their butts.

That'd be ditto wildchild too. I can't imagine we are in the minority here!

I'm preoccupied with the economy that I think is going into another depression. I don't think I really need to worry because I think I'm well prepared to weather a long downturn. The uncertainty bothers me though and I remember my parents and grandparents talking alot about the depression.

I worry about SO's health. He will be 67 in a couple of weeks and shows signs of dimentia. Since 1989, I have been dealing with one family member or another with this. I hate it. Not to mention, I am the only one to "care".

Grandmother, Father, Brother, Mother, now SO. My chances of having dimentia or probably 100%.

I`m not much of a worrier.

When I see things that need working on, I try to do what I can to improve them.

If there are things that one can`t do much about ... one doesn`t achieve much by worrying about it.

As for worrying about the future ... Grandma used to say, ``Don`t cross bridges till you get there``.

Not to say that one shouldn`t plan ahead: any financial advisor worth his or her salt isn`t going to ``Pooh - pooh`` that idea.
