I got more info today - both from my brother's significant other (SO) who sent me a long email and from him when he called me. He completed the intake evaluation today and he goes in Monday for detox and then into treatment for four weeks. He seems very committed to it and I do think he realizes he will die soon if he doesn't do this. Hopefully it's not too late as his SO indicated he is pretty sick - unable to eat, etc. I was encouraged to hear him rather enthusiastic about his four hour conversation with the intake counselor who is a nine year recovering alcoholic. I know it will be important for him to develop relationships with other recovering alcoholics, which in the past he despised - things like AA meetings which he has attended in the past - required I think as a result of DUI arrests. He's anxious to get in and get started though scared about the detox. He knows he will be given medication to help with this but I felt very bad for him as I don't think I've ever heard him express fear about anything. So things are progressing. It's so tragic how awful addiction can be.

Yes, it's on at 8pm. I'm looking forward to this one, as the house will be going green. I also watch (record) Showtime "Big Brother Afterdark" from midnight to 3am. On jokers update it said Christmas voted that way to stir the pot. At the end of BB last night, Julie said the houseguests will be able to stop who re-enters from Battleback. Fingers crossed it's not Cody that comes back. I can't take anymore of his death stare and nastiness. Kevin just might float through to the end. The houseguests have to explain a lot to him about how the game is played, but I think he's playing them. His hair drives me crazy and often times I can't understand what he says lol. Hoping for Jessica to be out the door next!

I don't think Paul believed Cody at all but it's a good way to get things stirred up and keep someone else as a target. Cody was definitely a liar. But what he did worked because it took the target off of Jessica. Jessica is now playing a much smarter game without Cody. Paul is continuing to keep the target off of himself. Dom made a huge fool out of herself and pretty much sealed her fate. Because she is in love with Mark and they had their kiss she has hated Elana and tried to throw her under the bus. She did that talking to Alex in the hoh room. She should have kept her mouth shut instead of trying to throw one of her group under the bus. She is the snake.
