Disney adult size nightshirts $9 each using code HAPPY 25 . Happy25 takes 25% off and they were already on sale.

I just got in from picking up a set of 3 ceramic airtight cannisters. New in the Box! Also a large bag of white plastic hangers. Seems we always run out of them. They were both from Freecycle.

All the stores have asparagus for $1.97. We were at Walmart and it was $1.47 lb, so of course, it jumped right into my hand.

Janie, I love that bedspread. How do I go about getting the Rebates? I didn't see anything mentioned at the site.

Also I noticed it is quilted. I'm wondering how heavy that would make it?

I have gotten several coupons at Krogers recently that are for Carnation Essentials, which I have a glass of every day.

The coupons are for $1.50 off on 3, or a couple were $1.50 or $1.75 off anything, in one visit. Since I buy that product, I use the coupons and in the last month I have saved about $6.00. My overflow shelf looks very festive!

I have one more $1.50 coupon which I will use on Tuesday. Hope they keep them coming.

I was killing time @ the mall this afternoon while dh was donating blood to Red Cross. I found a $70 pair of jeans for $10 and a leopard print hat regular $21 for $7. I had been thinking as I walked around how much I hate shopping (I was really just browsing) & how ugly most of the styles are. But when I score a bargain like these I'm happy!

Fingerless wool mittens, Ebay. The seller made a mistake, shipped the wrong size & damaged, so I ended up repairing the pair that was damaged, they fit me(I had a pair already, but hey...), got 2/$10 including shipping.

Oh, I LOVE fingerless gloves. I used to use them while working on homework quite a bit... and still keep a pair handy so I can use them when crafting.

Like Janie, one of the best deals I've ever found was an 8-piece reversible bedding set from Kohl's for only $59!
My home is a bit 'zen' so it is perfect for my needs.

I bought a couple pet beds and some dog toys from the Kohl's website today. My dog won't use any of them, but I plan on donating them to the local shelter... the beds ended up costing me less than $5. each and the toys were about $6. for a 4 pack with coupon code HEART30 (30% off) and shipped free with SWEETSHIP plus I ordered enough other stuff to get a $10. Kohl's Cash certificate. You do need to use a Kohl's charge to use those coupons! They did work earlier today, but I am not sure when either of them expire.

Nicole, I wish that was our bedroom, but it is not. Those are the marketing photos on the Kohl's site. I would post a pic of the set in our home (guest room, not master bedroom) but the room is not quite finished yet.

I remembered another awesome deal I got a few months back that still brings a smile to my face every time I think about it.

When I traveled around Japan in 2008 I came across a wonderful display of sake barrels at a temple in Kobe. I just fell in love with them and took several pictures, one of which is hung in our hallway.

One day, just on a whim, I did a search for sake barrel on Craig's List and found one for $10. These things run hundreds of dollars! I figured something must be wrong with it but went to pick it up anyhow. Not only is it in great shape, considering its age, it still have all of the shipping tags and such from when it was shipped to LA in the 1960s.

These are the sake barrels I found in Kobe. They are for display only and not filled with sake or really considered the real thing. Instead, they are considered spiritual in nature.

This is the sake barrel I bought on CL for $10. Sorry for the poor photo, I'm too lazy to get up and snap another pic, but you get the idea. The shape is squat like the ones in Kobe, don't know why it doesn't look that way in the photo.
