Does anyone have a new Ladylux3?

I like this faucet, but the one on display in my local showroom needs you to keep the button held down if you want the spray. This is unacceptable for me.

One of the salespeople told me that the one on display is the old version and the new version no longer requires you to hold the button for the spray.

This is too important to me to take the salesperson's word. I'd love to confirm this with someone who has the faucet.

That particular model does NOT have a locking spray function. I just checked faucetdirect.com for you. That's where I purchased my two Ladylux faucets a few months ago. I got the one with the gooseneck pull down for my prep sink, model 32 226 and the pull-out model 33 893 for my main sink. Both of those having a locking spray mechanism. The pull-out model is my favorite. While I liked the style of the one you are asking about, the lack of a locking spray mechanism made me choose a different style.

Rufinorox - which finish do you want? Also, I remember from your other post that you ordered the Ladylux3 model 32298, which I wondered about because I thought you said you preferred NOT to have a faucet where you have to hold the button for the spray. The 32298 you have to hold the button. The Grohe Ladylux3 also comes in a model that you can let go of the button and it stays on spray, which is the #32226, and you may find that model more available. In any case, whichever model you want, I would try Abt.com, because Abt is known for its customer service, and sells the Grohe faucets. Also try faucetdirect.com. Call them and see whether they have your faucet in stock. Make sure to specify the finish you want.

Thanks very much for that photo, monkeyjac. Wow, that is an amazing job they did with your seam. In my case the sink is centered on the island, with the widest part of the arch across from the sink and facing the family room directly. If I knew for sure that it would look like yours, I would have no concerns! This has actually been my hardest decision. I have come to think something like NVG could work best in my kitchen for a number of reasons. Not only does it complement both of my cabinet colors but I feel that as much as I love the movement granites, too much in a large space could easily overwhelm (there's a desk and bar area I'm covering, too). Thats something that my KD has cautioned me about as well and he loves granite with movement. Also looks like you put in the exact Artisan sink I'm considering. I'm between this or the Ticor. I have the Ladylux3 pro (32.226 model, there are a couple, but only the 226 has a forward rotation lever, i.e., it does not rotate all the way back, so it's less likely to hit your backsplash). It toggles between spray and regular flow with a button, but you don't have to hold down the button after pressing, it's a true toggle switch. You do have to turn the water off and back on to go back to regular spray. I love this pulldown faucet, for looks and function, and I don't find the button too small at all. I really dislike pullouts in general, though, as they feel ackward to use to me, and too bulky in the hand. Good luck!

Our house came with an older Ladylux faucet that did not have the option to keep the spray engaged. The rubber on the back was cracked so I ordered a new pull down spray attachment. It doesn't stay engaged either. While I'd prefer it the other way I've gotten used to it. It'll work until we remodel the kitchen.

My friend just got one in her new kitchen, installed about 3 weeks ago. I don't know if it's a Ladylux3, but it's a grohe that looks like the one in the link. I was using it to clean her sink a few days ago, and noticed that it did not have a locking spray. I can try to find out which model she has if you'd like me to.
