Thanks to all for the Birhday Wishes :0) I have been off of work for the last 2 days and have been really busy with the family.On my birthday we went to Chuck E Cheese for lunch and yes DW knew I was doing it for our 4 yr old son and not for me, but still had a really fun time and played lots of video games with him.Today we went and had lunch at Zekes, this is here in FTW and has really good fried fish baskets along with fries and fried mushrooms, oh yea and really cold drinks to go along with the good food.Well for the Bday gifts the family gave me this really cool black Seiko watch and a Afflection shirt that I have been wanting for some time.But the really big FEISTA kicks off tomorrow where all the family will be coming over where mom,sister and DW will be making chicken enchiladas, beans along with some really hot salsa and there will be other side dishes too and don't forget the CORONAS :0) Happy Birthday to tropicgirl hope all your wishes come true! Thank you Dcarch, Sally, Jasdip and bcskye for the birthday wishes. I had a very fun day at work. I sent out an invitation to about 100 co-workers and friends this morning. It said "I'm 60 today and one day you will be too!" I don't like cake so I ordered a full sheet pan, giant rice krispy bar! It was 3" thick and way too much for the 70+ people that showed up. I've never met anyone with an October 1 birthday before. So it came as a real surprise last year when I found out the woman I work for shares my birthday. She went to Philly yesterday and had to miss the party. One of the guys that also works for her made a quick video and sent it to her phone. She was at the airport boarding her flight to come home when she received it. She particularly like the inscription on the giant bar. I don't know how old Molly is ....I'm thinking early 40's. She had no idea I was 60 however! Dcarch - you should receive your rice later this week. And then you can entertain us with the many unusual creations you come up with. I have shared many pounds of rice over the years. But I don't think I have ever known anyone who is so creative and who enjoys the rice as much as you do. Happy Birthday to you ......whenever it is! Jasdip, the KT is listed as my favorite site, (Been a Garden Web member since I got my first PC, in !997.) but ever since iVillage bought GW, we never know what might change. A lot of KTers don't have a birthday listed on their profile; I guess that is their choice, or not. Any way, at least I still know when mine is! Susan, that isn't my helmet; it is my DGS's DW's. They ride a lot. He would never have taken me with out it. But I didn't really like the "Harley helmet hairdo" when I saw the pic. The only other time I rode was once, at their house, around the block, so this was my maiden voyage. I appreciate all your kind, and flattering, replies. If there is a reason for my being at this age, it is because I am not a worrier, and I prefer to use common sense and logic in all things and the BIGGIE: I truly believe that laughter is the best medicine. I love (good, clean) humor and try my best to spread it around. The cupcake girl's DH is the photographer, but he didn't take any of the refreshment tables.
