I never watch. I dyed some wool for rug hooking last night, did some emailing, and went to bed early.

However, I'm watching the commercials this morning. :-)

I didn't watch t.v. at all yesterday - went to church, did research on the computer and read.

Hubby turned it on briefly, the Packers were ahead, then didn't watch till the last few minutes of the 4th quarter. He wanted GB to win, so he's happy. Me, I couldn't care less. Not a football fan.

Finished reading a book that I could not leave alone. I'm not into football, so that wasn't difficult.

I didn't watch one second of it. I don't really enjoy sports and I don't understand the rules of football.

I did not watch either as I was not interested in the football and was especially disappointed in the choice for the half time performance.

2005, 2006, and 2009 were 3 of the best ones.

I watched but I was also doing crossword puzzles and then finished reading a book. It's seldom that I simply watch TV - I'm normally doing something else at the same time - sewing, surfing the net, reading.

DH flipped back and forth between several things that were on. I'm not into football so I worked on a Jigsaw puzzle.

Nope. Not one bit of interest... not even the halftime or commercials. We spent the afternoon with the grandchildren at a local park that has a playground and then dinner.

I would rather watch paint dry that watch grossly over paid ball jockies play a game. I was surprised that Hubs didn't watch it either.

my daughter brought over pulled pork for sandwiches so I didn't have to cook...They watched football with Denny and I got to play with the greatgrandkids....yeehaw

I did sorta watch, but I do not like football or any sport on TV except the Phillies. If I would have been home, I definitely would not have had it on, but the tradition, dumb as it is, is to go to my son's house so it's a socialization thing with me. I could've cared less who won, and I'm from PA. Call me dumb, but I don't get the hype and the thousands of dollars people pay to fly down and spend big bucks on tickets for a football game. .

I didn't watch the superbowl at all, but I did catch part of the Puppy Bowl!

I didn't watch it, but I am always interested in seeing the commercials. I decided that next year I will record it and then I will fast forward through the game to watch the commercials...lol.

And so many people complaining about the economy and prices on everything going up but that doesn't seem to matter to those who buy the tickets which help to pay those grossly over paid ball jockies.

The fact that more policemen are needed to look out for the drunk drivers, tells us something about the spectators, also.

Don't care for any professional sports.

So no, I didn't watch. I have seen some of the commercials, and I noticed there is so much emphasis on rough action and speed. A sign of the times I guess.

I watched halftime and tuned in again now and again to make sure the Packers won. I don't watch pro sports but have a friend who is a huge Packers fan.

we watched very little was not really interested at all but did turn it on a few times just to catch the score and some of the entertainment etc.
I watched most of the commercials on the website not during the game.

Count me in as thoroughly enjoying reading a book while DH watched the game. Sports is just "not my thing"

DH and I watched a movie. I'd rather watch a blank TV screen than a football game...Super Bowl or not.

Count me as a non-watcher. I do not like to even think about all those over-paid people. DH just spent weeks (it seems?) watching tennis from Australia...watching and shaking his head about how "over-paid" they are. Well....that is why they are "over-paid". If folks didn't watch...and didn't get suckered into buying what the commercials are selling as well as all the hoopla that goes with it...maybe we would get our priorities in better alignment. JMHO...and off my soap-box; (as our school district is face with cutting 35 or more teachers)

Spent time in mid-afternoon on computer at the library, then visited son and his lady, took a half hour or so to tell part of the story of my life to them that I told in 10 - 15 min, at the old guys' coffee hour at church about 10 days ago ... and he recorded it, to send to his sister.

I was using some of the props that he'd lent me before I told it to the ROMEOs.

Did some shopping (seeking less than half-priced coffee cream - didn't find any: had found one, earlier in the day, along my regular route).

Got home about ten.

Joyful, I think it would have been about 6:30 PM starting time Eastern. I had no interest in it this year. This year it was one of those games where I would like to see both teams lose.

I didn't even turn on the TV until about 9PM. I went to Menards and picked up a bunch of bargains. I knew it would be a good time to go to the stores. When I was in retail it would be packed until the game starts then pretty empty. I didn't get going until about 6 and when I pulled into the lot I thought, oh shoot, they must close at 6 on Sundays instead of 8 as I thought! But no, it was that empty. Took me until closing time to get everything, get checked out and a couple of the employees helped me get the rebate slips and then one of the employees helped me bring the stuff to my vehicle and load it! Granted it was so he could bring the cart back in - obviously they wanted to get finished and go home - can't blame them for that. He was real friendly. Said I was one of "about 10 customers" in there this evening! I told him I used to be in retail and knew it was a good time to shop.

And AFAIC the commercials have gotten worse over the years so it's not worth watching for them. Plus you usually see them played over and over on the news the next few days and I suppose if there's a good one someone will be posting a few threads on it and I can watch it on the internet! :)

Not one second. Never have enjoyed watching any type of sport. Never could understand it. Why waste your time, go out and actually do something yourself instead on sitting around eatting junk food and sipping on beer while the pro's are getting big bucks out there getting some exercise.
Can't get to sleep, am getting up early and fly to Phoenix tommorrow, hate planes. At least I will get out of Mn for a bit and get warm again.

Nope! Neither one of us likes football. Or most sports.

Football has to be the most boring sport on earth. Not a sports fan but at least other sports are more exciting and I can watch if I have to. My exchange students love sports but after their first high school football game they totally lost interest in ever watching another game so we didn't watch.

Count me in as "didn't watch it, didn't care and don't waste my time on sports in general." I did watch some tv; The show "Who Do You Think You Are" traced Vanessa Williams family tree to pre-Civil War and was fascinating.
