Linda, just had Champagne the other night to celebrate our 32nd Anniversary. And lobster is usually reserved for New Year's Eve. Although, that isn't a bad idea.

Not sure what we will have tonight. Still thinking that one out. But I do know that Jessica is right, we sure won't be having brisket.

Happy Belated Birthday, Ann - we've been without power for a few days because of hurricane Irene. I have to tell you I made your Greek stew recipe with zucchini and green beans and tomatoes from my garden - borrowed some potatoes from a neighbor - we just had the last of it tonight with feta and some grilled ciabatta. Ate it by candlelight the past few evenings. What a gift your recipes are.

Can I take this opportunity to thank you for your cook book? Some times I just go through the pictures for inspiration. I am even making one of your recipes for my future sister in law's dessert table. The little lemon cheesecake shortbread recipe. Yum!
