That time again!!

For my annual luncheon bridge group to meet at my house.

I was thinking of seafood quiche...but we had that last month...I was thinking of gaspacho...but one of our members can't (or won't!) eat onion, and I cant' think of gaspacho without onion....but ..I suppose I could make a small batch for her....

Anyhow, I am "expected" to serve several kinds of home made bread...so I try not to serve any main dish that's "bready".

I did salmon once and serveral people left half...so I guess they are not fish eaters...

I thought of planning my menu around dessert....thought of carrot cake ( I have a yen for some) I think I could still score some rhubarb...so I could make a rhubarb cake with "cake gravy".

I have been drooling over chase's chicken strudle for several years....but with the "expected" breads.....that may be too much work....and too much bread...

Ideas???

Maybe I should just make the strudle, make just one kind of bread and serve a small green salad and berrys and a cookie for dessert...

Aie! Decisions! If I hadn't set the bar, I could just make a chicken salad, bit of green salad and some bread sticks and a brownie and coffee.

H*E*L*P!!!
