My smarty-pants husband when he was just a nerdy little kid. :) He's the one with glasses. He grew up in the hills of West Virginia, raised by a single mom facing hard times, but she sure kept those boys looking sharp!

It was too good to pass , so I gave in

alisande, I'm pretty sure it was taken Easter Sunday. I don't know the story about the hat. He was the right age to be drafted for WWII but got an agricultural deferment to stay on the farm and grow food.
