As Seen on TV...and it worked!

We moved The Boy into his dorm room yesterday...he's in an old dorm. His "closet" is an alcove in the wall. His room didn't have much storage, so the closet was key. Luckily, he packs in crates--so that's what he's using for most of his folded clothes.

BUT...the "closet" had NO LIGHT. And it was dark in the back corners where he and his roommate will need to store their clothes. But I'd seen the "Stick Up Bulb" advertised on tv...and I thought it might work.

Off to Linens n Things. $20 and two "Stick Up Bulbs" later and there was light. Seriously--solved a potential fashion disaster (getting dressed in the dark is never good!) and I looked like a genius to my 19 y/o kid. (A rare occurrence with a "child" that age.)

Just throwing it out there for folks who may find themselves in a similar situation. It really does give enough light to be useful. Not certain how quickly it will eat the 4 AA batteries it needs to run...but I'm hoping it won't be TOO quickly.
