What do you do with yellow squash up to your keister?

I call my neighbors my part-time neighbors, because they live on a family farm now, but still come to the house next door every couple weeks. They always share their garden produce and this time, they brought me about 25 pounds of yellow squash, along with a manageable number of cukes.

What about making yellow squash bread instead of zucchini bread? I'm thinking it would be about the same texture, minus the green flecks.

I like to fry it with tomatoes, onions, garlic and okra, too, but can only make so much of that. Grilled and drizzled with olive oil and balsamic vinegar is good, too. Ratatouille doesn't take that much of it, by the time you add everything else.

Does anyone have any other good dishes made with yellow crooknecks? If so, I'd love to try some!
