Well, I'm glad you kept track of where you left off so we could all be caught up. Love the way the two new beds turned out. Nice saved space by the way you built them. I have a couple of hydrangeas, but not for shade. The oak leaf hydrangea gets tall and bush shaped, would make nice shade for quite a few hosta. Don, did you order a Dick Ward this time? You will love it. Like Stained Glass but more brassy gold in the middle, and tough as nails. I've had mine since May 2010, and it acts like it is almost mature.

Congrats, Midnight. Growing a clivia to blooming size from seed is a great accomplishment. I hope you'll start a separate thread with pics once the blooms are open. Great plants! Socks, Disneyland and I have a lot in common, heh heh, and no, not because I'm "goofy"! I like a lot of the plants they use, and how they create such cheerful/jarring combinations. I just planted a bare root 'Disneyland' rose, which, while not jarring, is certainly perky like the many they have planted there. I've been gardening since I was five years old and have reached the point where I just plant what I enjoy and what makes me smile, so "tastemakers" be damned, lol. The brighter, taller, and stinkier, the more I like my orange marigolds. I actually struggle to find non-dumpy dwarf types. Usually I get them from Select Seeds or Seeds of Change...what about you? Take care, Grant

Thank you so much to each and every one of you. I knew that his time was limited before, but not this bad and probably not this short. The cancers started on his head due to the anti-rejection medication he had to take after the heart transplant a little over ten years ago. They switched him to the original anti-rejection medication that was replaced by the current one. Its all been squamish cell carcinoma. I think that's the spelling of it. He's had several years of surgeries on his head as Mustang knows because we were in the Tampa area for one of the surgeries and she graciously offered to help me. I will forever be thankful to you. You make sure your DH keeps on top of them. I'm strong and have been through similar situations with my grandmother, mother and aunt. I've always been the soother and caretaker of the sick and dying in my family. For the most part I stay strong and this will be a little different, but I have to stay strong and calm for him. Yes, l pinkmountain, cancer sucks! I am trying to figure out a way to get him back to Florida for as long as necessary because he is always cold here and wants to be there. Anyone know anything about the MacDill AFB FamCamp. Since we are both veterans and he is rated at 100% service connected disabled, we could possibly stay there. Hugs to all of you, my friends. Minimum code is 30" for a toilet-15" from the center of the toilet to any solid object. How much is in your new plan? I'm in definite agreement about the barn door. The hardware causes it to sit away from the wall and it will be terrible for privacy or light control.
