If it's not the prepasted kind, I use it to mail books in for Paperback Swap. I turn the patterned side in and use the plain side to the outside.

I've used wallpaper to cover picture mats and to line drawers.

cut and use a pattern section as a picture to complement ajoining room or hall...

I've used it in rooms including bathrooms to cover waste baskets. I've also used small strips on lamp shades to make the shades match the walls.

I have a friend who makes envelopes and greeting cards out of wallpaper she has a lot of pen pals and they look forward to receiving mail from her

When my grandkids were little i use to unroll it and reroll with the white on outside then the kids would use it to color or paint on.

After I wallpapered my bathroom, I cut a piece to fit the rectangular area inside the door. Glued it on, looks terrific!

Like others have mentioned, I use mine to line
shelves. I absolutely love it for that. It is thick
and stays in place, and is easy to wipe clean.

Just be careful using the prepasted--if you use it someplace that can get wet, you could have a mess. Even in a drawer--if a bottle of perfume or other liquid were to spill or leak.....

My recommendation? Just continue as you have--set it aside and hang onto it. I redid my kitchen 26 years ago. We're getting the house ready to sell. When I took down some of the stuff that was hanging on the soffit over the counter, it had left faded marks on the wallpaper. I just pulled out my old roll and slapped a little more wallpaper on top of that section. Same in the dining room where we'd had a small leak about 10 years ago. I just added one strip of wallpaper over what was already there--totally covered up the problem. In all those cases, the rest of the room looked great--so it was worth just doing a 'patch job' to repair the small bits that needed work. Luckily, I always keep the extra wallpaper.

I also had a closet that had some wall issues. I just added some wallpaper, and it looks great!

You never know when you may have damage to repair on your walls. Having some extra wallpaper may just mean you don't have to completely redo the entire room. I plan to leave the extra wallpaper for the next owners.

I agree with Azzalea. We had to replace a built-in microwave. It left a good eight inches of white wall showing. I was able to patch it perfectly with the left over wallpaper.
