I pre-ordered 2. One for myself and one for DD. Gave DD one for Christmas and she gave me one. I immediately (before I opened it) re-gifted it to her MIL. DH fixed her lasagne last week and it was the best I have ever had! He did make 2 changes. He didn't have any sausage so he left it out and recipe called for cottage and he had ricotta. I have used several of her recipes from the website and have never been disappointed. I just love her. Linda

Thanks for the heads up! I didn't realize the third Clifton book was out. Jeffrey Archer is a very good author--he's the one who got me interested in reading, back in the mid-1980s. If you have never tried his books, read "Kane and Abel" (not the Biblical ones). It was made into a great miniseries in the 1980s, starring Peter Strauss and Sam Neill. Also "Prisoner of Birth" is exceptionally good.

I've loved the Stephanie Plum series, as well. Lately, though, she seems to be "phoning them in", so to speak. They've lost their lustre for me. I remember reading the early books and laughing out loud, plus they also had good story lines. Now it seems it's one or the other. I will definately check out the link, though. Thanks for sharing.

I've sold books regularly with Amazon.com for over 9 years. There IS a media rate and it is very cheap as compared to other ways of shipping. Sometimes if a book is very light, it can go First Class which is cheaper than Media in that case. I have found that when clerks at the PO don't know me, they recite the entire litany of rates starting with the $25 one and working on down to Media !! I wonder if they work on a commission!? LOL Carolyn, I'm glad you put it up on Amazon. It may sell quickly or take a while...be patient! I have seen sales drop drastically in the past 2 years because of the economy. If you price your book competitively with others listed in the same condition, you should sell in good time. I may have misled you about the ease of starting with Amazon because , now that I recall, I already had an account with them for buying books....so they used all that info and selling was a snap. I wish you good luck....It has been a VERY profitable hobby for me.
