lost my big fonts

Sometime this afternon I lost my nice big fonts on Kitchen Table and other GW sites.

I get here by using Explorer or AOL

the Computer forum suggested things on firefox but I dont have it.

It feels lik my font is now an 8 instead of a nive big 14

anyone kno how???

You already have answers to this in your duplicate post in the Computer Help forum...which, IMHO, is the best place to look first for computer help.

Oh my. I thought your post said "lost my big farts." LOL

Sorry I can't help you with either. I sure did need that laugh.

Our son's dog, Kate B. left us in her 12th year. She slept at my feet on the corner of the bed for so long that I automatically bent my right leg to make room for her even after she was gone. I told my DH that we had to find another friend. He said we could not replace her. I told him that was true but a new little friend would help to fill the void she had left (I boohoo'd for what seemed like weeks...my son could not believe I took it so hard). Six weeks later Tess came into our lives, all 1 3/4 lbs of her and she has been the best dog of our 42 year marriage. She loves us both, loves to talk to our grown son on the phone...hates his 4 huge cats! We just took in 2 black feral kittens we found under our house. I thought Tess was going to disown us. LOL She loves to tattle on what they are up to and with those two they are ALWAYS up to something (what was I thinking!). The good Lord shared a wonderful friend like Tweed and surely HE will send you another that will help you during the trying times you are dealing with. First ice pics lost one big tree so far.......

So far our trees don't look that bad. They just look pretty. It's a layer of ice and then a whole bunch of sleet. I think we have about an inch total. I talked to my family in Arkansas a little while ago. My brother's house doesn't have power, but my dads still does. They are expecting the bad stuff to come in tonight. They have a fireplace and a generator so they'll be ok.

Elderly cats do get kidney disease plus heart congestion, our 17 year old cat did and we gave medication, special foods and he hated it and was so thin. Talk about hard, I phoned and got an appointment and told my mom I did and started sobbing and she told me to cancel it. I did puzzled why? She said if its too hard, we won't do it. I said no, its time and I phoned back and my dad and I sobbed all the way there to the vet and then we had to wait while this lady had 4 cats to get checked and then it was our turn and the room they took us in was the same as they check the cats and there was others behind us and so it was a rushed goodbye and I didn't like that at all. We all sobbed and cried, he was my precious, I can still see him coming down the hallway upstairs in my parents place and him yelling his head off and I would say he needs his four hugs a day as he demanded them daily. He was my beloved and I miss him still alot and its been 6 years since we said goodbye. Its a huge gap in our lives when we lose our beloved pets, doesn't matter how little or how long they are with us, that bond is so deep and so strong. Jerica, You've written practically the story of my life, only it happened to me at 40 and not 18. I'm going to back up what some of the other posters say, in that you must tread softly in relation to how you talk about his wife. Keep in mind, though, that you may be getting the blame for things that you haven't said or done. My SM is good at making things up, to the point that my dad actually believed her. I believe you've sized the situation up correctly: Your SM is jealous of the closeness you have with your dad. Women like that (and it happens with biological mothers of sons, as well) can't seem to tell the difference between the love a man has for his wife and the love he has for his daughters. In other words, she may see you and your sister as a romantic rival for her husband's affections. Sick, but sometimes true. Talk to your dad, alone if at all possible, about the situation ... that you feel estranged from him and that you would like to spend more time with him. If he seems reluctant or won't look you in the eye or is evasive, ask him point blank if there's anything you've said or done that has made him or your SM mad. This is where you have to be careful. If your SM is inventing problems for him (things that she says you've done or said), it'll be hard to listen to it and not get really angry. I made that mistake a couple of times. Now that my father is actually talking to me again, I usually wait until he tells me what my "offense" is and then I, very calmly, tell him whether or not it actually happened. Be careful, though. Me and my siblings were really close to my dad until my SM came on the scene. He allowed her to estrange him from his family ... to the point that at one point, he didn't see or speak to any of his children or grandchildren for more than two years.

kudzu9 They didn't give me answers to fit my browser. I did find onAOL a browser setting page and was able to change the font to big but now it is huge
like 24 I can see the different fonts but not how to change the size. Thanks for your help tho I might call aol tomorrow I must have found it befor

Doesn't move my mouse even with the scroll

My Capitol letters are about 1/2 inch high

If you hold the control key down and then press the + key down several times, you should see the type size get progressively larger.

The instructions you got in the Computer Forum should have worked fine even if you are using Internet Explorer. However, this underlines the importance of posting complete info when you are asking a computer question (like what browser you are using).

Just to be clear, when I referred to saying what browser you are using, it helps to mention not just that it's Internet Explorer, but the version number as well, because sometimes the answer depends on whether you are using an older or newer version. In any case, using the Ctrl and "+" combo should work. If it doesn't, are you doing it correctly? You have to hold the Ctrl key down continuously while you tap on the"+" key until the font gets big enough.

After many calls to a technician with no results exceptin losing my broadband connection and other things my son came over and fixed the darn thing now it is back to normal thanks for all your good ideas

If you click on "Page" at the top of the page,

you should get a drop-down menu, which includes a subject called "Zoom",

to click on which will allow you to increase or decrease the size of your fonts.
