When I had seeds to trade, I posted on the Seed Exchange forum. I made sure my trade list was up-to-date. If someone was interested in trading with me, they contacted me via email. As with other gardening objectives, it makes sense to define your goals--decide how you want to trade (i, e, postage, address labels, envelopes) and put that out there on GW. List the seeds you have to trade on your trade list, then post what seed types you've got available on the Seed Exchange forum. I "shopped" for seeds on the Seed Exchange forum a couple of years until I filled my garden beds. I kept the seed exchange information (i.e., names & addresses of folks with whom I traded) on an Excel spreadsheet so I'd have it for future reference. Common sense rule of thumb is be sure you get return postage prior to mailing seeds.

Now that I have looked at your screen name I guess doing a Google search won't be of much help. "Sapphires" is sure to bring up oodles of hits not related to your name unlike a screen name like Dilly_Dally. There has been a problem with the board and as you can see on some days only the last letter of a screen name shows. Some posts have been lost forever too. "Recorder" does not bring up any with your screen name but all the posts are identified only by one letter due to a glitch. The GW site search only updates every so often. At least once a day, I think, but not as often as one might like. It's still useful, though Google is probably more timely. Search on your username using the search box at the bottom of the list of threads and choose the whole site option, or put "ths gardenweb nikkidan" in Google, maybe adding the name of the forum you want. ("ths" stands for "That Home Site" which is an historical name for this place.) That's the easiest way to do it.

In the upper right corner you will 'your houzz' or just arrow hit on your own name, 'forum/screen name' and you will see activity on the left...click on your 'posts' or your 'comments'. tada
