Very little vibration issues. The internal suspension absorbs most of it. Don't use a dense rubber mat under the Axxis washer like I tried. It's not needed with this unit. Level the washer and make sure all feet are solid on the floor. Axxis is a quality line.

Are you sure that's 1/2 cup, and not 1/2 a normal dose? If it does say 1/2 cup, I'd just go with a normal dose per the detergent package directions. Use HE detergent. The instructions are likely for running a cycle without clothes to flush-out any residue left in the machine from the manufacturing process. If the instructions don't state a specific cycle to use, choose one that allows a normal hot wash (a high-temp Sanitary option shouldn't be necessary), lightest soil level (shortest wash time) is likely sufficient. I don't imagine there's a way to get the machine to fill without starting the cycle ... so either add the detergent to the dispenser drawer as usual and carry on ... or start the cycle and let it fill a bit, pause it to add the detergent to the drawer and restart. Doesn't seem that either way should have any effect on the end result.

Sweet!!! I removed the dense rubber mat (which many people in this forum and the internet spoke so highly of in reducing vibration) and plywood(mdf) and placed my Axxis+ Washer on the bare unfinished floor which is a thin cement pad over a wood subfloor. And it worked great this time... Big difference. Thanks jakvis. Even when the load was slightly unbalanced, the washer was still pretty firm. Although, it can't be denied that when you place your hand on the washer top while final spinning, you should feel something!!! Maybe a bit of a pulsation depending on the balance of the load. I have to yank out the washer ONE MORE TIME to put the baseboard in at least. If it was up to me, I would LEAVE THE FLOOR AS IS with no floor cover which is not an option as per Ardex GS4 cement.

Get a light and look inside the dryer, at the rear seal area, for something caught between the seal and the tumbler. Do the same on the front seal area, you might need to use a mirror to view the front seal area. brenton
