Yes, she really planted 5 trees across the front of the house. Since the house is about 30 to 40 ft. across the front, and there are 4 spaces between the trees, I'm estimating 10 ft. between the trees and the same distance to the house. So although Toronado might have started this thread with tongue planted firmly in cheek, I have a front row seat to this slow moving train wreck. When she planted the "hedge" along the road, I stopped one evening when she was at the mailbox. I tried to impress upon her that the trees would soon be in the wires, and offered free advice. She politely listened, declined my offer of help, and about a month later the front of the house was 'landscaped'. Such a waste of money. I'll see if I can get the trees into a shot without photographing her home. I really don't want to post a pic of somebody's house w/o their permission.

Just my 2 cents....I love the Casa Vieja Outlook in Brushed Nickel ceiling fan. I am putting it on my list too. My only concern is total kitchen lighting. Slate is pretty porous and needs to be well sealed---much like concrete. If you want a surface that gets patina, then Corian is it. It's the right color---the Mint Ice--and it will get small scratches and nicks in it over time. Take a look at a local kitchen showroom to see for yourself. However, Corian is non porous, and even if you leave oil on it for weeks, it will never soak in. It may be a bit of a splurge for the aqua tile you show, but it will be cheaper than the sheet glass. Last time I priced glass from a local showroom for a client, she could have done granite cheaper. You really don't have that much backsplash to cover. Maybe 12-15 square feet from the counter to the shelf? Even if the tile is $75 a square foot, that's the $1200 expense that will completely make the entire kitchen. For the back wall, I think you should do more of the horizontal glass cabinetry. They should run the length of the entire back wall, except over the range. NO OTR! This isn't the kitchen for it. You have plenty of counter space for a small MW on the right hand side of the back wall. That glass range hood would be perfect over your range.

Oh, that's so much cuter than my dog's clothes, Stacy. lol And the lumps you're gonna find in your stocking? Those won't be coal, baby! Paisley is having a little problem and look what I had to make for her! She's getting better though, only has to wear this at night. She had a UTI and was dribbling a bit. I actually wish my dogs wanted to wear clothes, or needed to, because I could make them some really cute stuff, there's some great patterns out there. The "bikini" Paisley's wearing was hard to fit to her, I can't imagine making something without having the dog right there to try it on over and over.

They are adorable! And Eddie fits so comfortably on your sofa Stacy. Does he like the new arrangement?? lol

These photos are great! So cute. We are Eagles fans here but they are playing the Giants this week, so not very optimistic that they will be alive after Sunday, but I hope so.

I am not a Sooner nor a Steelers fan BUT I am a Ravens fan!
If I had any energy I would get something together for Lucy to model but unfortunately I have no energy.
Maybe tomorrow I will found something for her to wear. I must say that both dogs look great in their outfits.
