I ordered the pillow about 5 years ago. It was very effective until it leaked. I wrote to the company and they refunded my money but it made left a water stain on my mattress. Overall, it cooled me until it leaked. Wasn't worth the stain on the mattress.
I tried the pillow, but it was hard and uncomfortable. I found that my feet were a better cooling mechanism. I put one of those refreezable blue ice blocks in a plastic bag in my bed every night. When I would feel the sweats coming on, I would stick my feet onto the ice and feel cool almost immediately.
BTW, I also tried those nightgowns made from coolmax fabric and pillows supposedly made from NASA materials to keep your body temperature even. Neither worked as well as all cotton sheets and nightware and a fan. During summer, I have a fan that clips onto my headboard and blows right on my head. That's in addition to a ceiling fan that's runs all year long.
I hope you find some relief. It's tough to function when you can't get a good night's sleep.
