Leg of lamb

I had the meat guy cut a 2.5 lb roast from the small end of the leg. I'm planning on roasting it and making pita sandwiches with tatziki and a Greek salad. I'm wondering if I should debone it and tie it. For seasoning maybe crushed garlic and salt and pepper and into a hot oven. Am I even close to doing it right?
