Thank you for the compliments! These bulbs are now inside but spent the summer months outside on the deck in full sun for 3/4 of the day. Luckily, they seem to have been overlooked by the NBF!! It appears that my leaves are shorter than some of the other pictures on this thread, I wonder why? Also, my Mylan last year had longer leaves and this year the leaves are shorter, the same as my Sprekelia. My Mylan bud opened during the night to reveal 4 flowers!! Take a look, I can't wait!! I will attempt to self at least one of these flowers if anyone is interested in seeds. The only thing that bothers me a bit is that the stem coloration is a bit mottled whereas the stem on the Sprekelia is solid red. From Amaryllis Season 2014 & 2015 Donnaâºâºâº

You know Kristy I'm not sure Santa thought Barry was good enough to get a little something.LOL (just teasing) But I'm not sure Barry has a chimney. Santa may have to find another way to deliver something to him. No Barry we were not able to get you one of those girls that work at Hooters. We tried but the were all taken. Shoot, I'm not even sure he knows what a Hooters girl is. LOL They may only be in TEXAS. I think if Santa does have something for Barry he may just toss it out of his sleigh as he's flying over on Christmas Eve. Gee, Barry I do hope you get some little something. It's not alot of fun looking in from the outside. The fireplace is so warm and the hot chocolate with marshmellows, and homemade chocolate chip cookies is so yummy. Not to mention all the brugs and seeds that are being shared. Linda, I would dearly love a couple of those pink daffs. I do have a field next door to me of plain old fashion daffs. I have dug up about a truck load and planted them around everything. The neighbor has a field full of them and he doesn't want or like them. So he said I could have all I want. Now doesn't that just figure, someone that has them doesn't want them. He probably has about a 5 acre field of them. The past two years I've gone and dug a bunch up and shared them with other people. You would be surprised how many of them things you can get in a flat rate box. They are buried pretty deep and it's alot of work for an older woman. (grin) But I would dig you some if you wanted me to Linda. Merry Christmas everyone, Love Marian

What a great present! Don't worry about learning everything about the camera at once. Anne hit it on the head: use the autofocus (green on the dial) and the sports mode (the little running man icon) at first then work your way into the more complicated stuff. Heck! You might not ever NEED the complicated stuff Patti! The macro function (the little flower icon) is really fun too for closeups. Let's see some photos! Lori

I agree that the larger burners should be in the back. I solved the exhaust problem by installing a vented microwave above the stove, under that tiny ceiling cabinet above the stove. I just turn on the microwave vent and wahlah! Steam gone. I also agree that glass tops for stoves is a ridiculous and stupid idea. Can't get away from them, though. No way to do away with the scratches and bubbles without replacing the glass top. Oh, well. It's a stove, not a fashion display. I'll live with it.
