YOu know I was kind of affraid of that. As most of you can tell if I like something I've got to have more than just a few. Now I've got to read up about them and how to take care of them. Kristy, your wonderful and Kylie you are too. With garden buddies like ya'll who needs a garden center or nursery nearby? I just love getting all your goodies in the mail. Thanks for sharing your plants with me but most of all thanks for sharing your love and yourself with me and others.

My plummies are in the ground and too tall to cover! Hope they make it thru the winter! If not I will cut them down and they may come back

Mine got hit by a freak snow storm the day after I brought them out last spring and some of the ends turned black and I cut them back to healthy stock and they bloomed even better than ever this year. I hope yours do well.

So let me guess I'm going to have to start begging for starts of everyone else's Plummies or go buy a bunch of different ones at the Nurseries. Hummmm all of this junk is so darn addictive.

I would have never thought in a million years I would be leaning toward tropical plants as some of my very favorites.

Hum, now if I could just get a couple starts of other peoples plummies, and some pink daffodils, and some of those crinum lilies...I'd be on a roll. HINT HINT LOL

I think I actually have a start of a plummie that a lady gave me last month. She couldn't think of the name of the plant but she said it came from Hawaii and they make the hawaiian necklaces out of them. Right now it's just a big fat stick in the pot.

I have several different kinds of yellow daffs but don't have any of the real fancy ones and for sure don't have any pink ones(which just happens to be my VERY FAVORITE color).

Well I kind of got carried away here like I always do sorry bout that.

You know Kristy I'm not sure Santa thought Barry was good enough to get a little something.LOL (just teasing) But I'm not sure Barry has a chimney. Santa may have to find another way to deliver something to him.

No Barry we were not able to get you one of those girls that work at Hooters. We tried but the were all taken. Shoot, I'm not even sure he knows what a Hooters girl is. LOL They may only be in TEXAS.

I think if Santa does have something for Barry he may just toss it out of his sleigh as he's flying over on Christmas Eve.

It's not alot of fun looking in from the outside. The fireplace is so warm and the hot chocolate with marshmellows, and homemade chocolate chip cookies is so yummy.Not to mention all the brugs and seeds that are being shared.

Linda, I would dearly love a couple of those pink daffs. I do have a field next door to me of plain old fashion daffs. I have dug up about a truck load and planted them around everything. The neighbor has a field full of them and he doesn't want or like them. So he said I could have all I want. Now doesn't that just figure, someone that has them doesn't want them. He probably has about a 5 acre field of them. The past two years I've gone and dug a bunch up and shared them with other people. You would be surprised how many of them things you can get in a flat rate box. They are buried pretty deep and it's alot of work for an older woman. (grin) But I would dig you some if you wanted me to Linda.

Kylie, I have a tiny one like I sent out to a couple of folks but if it doesn't make it would you save me one? When I ordered them I didn't know they would be so little but I sent them out anyway hoping they would make it.

Thanks Kylie, wait at least a week or so and then send them to me when you get a chance. I'll plant them while it's still half way decent here. We are expecting it to get down below freezing Christmas Eve and Christmas day. Then the forecast is for warmer weather again. Had to run the airconditioner yesterday it was so hot. LOL maybe the freeze will make it seem like Christmas. It's hard to get in the spirit when it's in the 70's. Can't very well have a fire in the fireplace unless you turn the ac on. LOL
