I recently downloaded GroceryIQ, which came highly recommended, but I haven't started using it yet. For a "to do" app, I use Things. It's one of the few apps I've actually paid for, but it seems to organize things better than the other ones I could find. So far, it has worked great for me, but I'm still getting used to it. I do have some other apps that help keep me organized, though... A favorite new one is CardStar. This one will scan all those stupid little keyring discount cards for the grocery store, pharmacy, pet store, etc., so you no longer have to carry them around. I was a bit skeptical because some of the reviews said that the store scanners don't always read them, but I haven't had any problem with it. It's also a place to store things like frequent flyer numbers or hotel reward numbers, etc. Dragon Dictation is an awesome tool for extremely accurate voice recordings. Before I got Things, I used it to make my "to do" list. Now, I will still use it to dictate texts or e-mails. GeniusScan is another fabulous organization app. It uses your phone's camera as a scanner and translates scans into pdf files, which you can e-mail to yourself or to others. If you're trying to reduce the amount of paper in your life, this is a great tool! It has come in very handy at meetings, when everyone wanted an electronic copy of something. AroundMe is a good app to find the closest _____ (gas stations, restaurants, grocery stores, etc.). RedLaser allows you to do comparison shopping. It uses your camera as a barcode reader and will do an instant online search to tell you if you can get the item cheaper elsewhere. EverNote is another app for organizing ideas or items you like. I haven't used it yet, but like some of these others, it came highly recommended. Some of my other favorite apps that aren't related to organization include Shazam, IMDB, Pandora Radio, Google, ESPN ScoreCenter, TED Mobile, iBird, and Articles. Have fun with your new phone (I don't know why we even still call them "phones" with all they can do these days)!

Here are a few of my favourite appetizers: These little cocktail toasts with goat cheese and toasted walnuts are easy and very tasty. Just put a dollop of warm goat cheese on a cocktail toast, top with a toasted walnut and drizzle with olive oil. This tuna pate is addictive. Tuna Pate ========= Although this is a very easy appetizer that can be made earlier in the day, it is also a very rich because of all of the butter. One of my favourites. 2 (6 ounces) cans white tuna drained 1 cup butter 2 Tablespoons chopped roasted red pepper (Homemade or bottled pimentos) 1 to 2 teaspoons capers fresh lemon juice 2 to 3 drops tabasco salt and pepper Puree tuna and butter in processor Add chopped red pepper, capers, lemon juice, salt, pepper and tabasco. Process on pulse until the capers and red peppers are finely minced. Taste and adjust seasoning. Pack into decorate serving bowl and cover and refrigerate. When ready to serve remove a bit early from fridge so that the pate has a change to soften just slightly. Serve with toasted pita triangles Cut Plain or whole wheat pitas into triangles. Separate each triangle and place on cookie sheet. Brush with melted butter or margarine. Bake at 350�F until crisp and golden. Be careful not to burn. Remove and let cool. Serve triangles surrounding tuna pate OR a big batch of these Firecracker Shrimps? Firecracker Shrimp ================== Source: Week of Menus Blog 2 lbs of jumbo shrimp, legs removed, de-veined and butterflied (see step by step photos below) 1/4 cup of butter, softened (softer the better) 1/4 cup olive oil 1/4 cup chopped cilantro 1/4 cup chopped red pepper (red bell pepper is fine, but if you like SPICE, use a red chili pepper) 3 tablespoons of finely chopped garlic 1 tablespoon lime juice Sea salt and cayenne pepper(optional) for sprinkling Arrange oven rack so that it is closest to the heating element. Preheat oven to broil. Line sheet pan with foil. Place prepared shrimp evenly so that there is only a single layer and every shrimp will get maximum heat.

terriks, we are with Tmobile also. I had a Blackberry, and thought I was missing out on on the touch screen stuff that all my friends have, and bought the Motorola Cliq. I had it a week and took it back and got the new 9700 Blackberry Bold. Now, the girl that helped me at TMobile LOVES her Motorola cliq, and another lady who came in when I was trying to decide, said she loved hers, so I got it. It was just too "touchy" for me, and I kept calling people by accident by barely touching the pad. Everyone said I would get use to it, but, I went back to the newer Blackberry. Had to wait awhile, because they have been selling out of the new BB. Saying that, I have never loved a phone so much as my Blackberry Bold. It is so much better than the older model BB's, and it is simple enough for me to handle. I guess I am just not as tech savvy as most of you or my friends-LOL!

Nope, don't have them and won't have them. I have enough experience trying to find addresses when I was with the PI firm and would go out to do process service. Talked to enough police and fire folks and saw firsthand during ride-alongs and other experience that they're not very effective. Snow, ice, dirt, parked cars, faded numbers, kids altering numbers... are just a start of the problem with curb numbers. It's another false sense of security pushed by people selling something. Even numbers on the mailbox can often be problematic. First, not all houses have street mailboxes. Some mailboxes are on the house. Many have them grouped, 3-5, some are across the street, down the street, some even a block away. How is that helpful? Far better to have LARGE NUMBERS on your house in a conspicuous spot. I have the numbers that are probably 8" high and very thick in a very contrasting color and it looks fine. I've seen the lighted ones and while they're a good idea, they also should be bigger. I've seen the solar lighted ones too and like the concept but again, they're not always easy to read. It's super easy to tell my house by the number. And the biggest peeve and complaint I heard of emergency vehicles are people who try to be fancy with their address and have the "written out" version rather than numbers (Twenty Three Seventy Seven), as they're in a difficult to read script, thin and small, but "look so fancy". Then the real foo-foo folks try to be fancier and put them in several lines. On behalf of all emergency vehicles "ARGH!!" When you abandon common sense to try to be fancy you assume the risk of delayed emergency response. If your trees and bushes are so overgrown that you can't see your house and numbers you're a burglar's dream. Maybe you should consider trimming your trees and bushes. Otherwise put large numbers on a post at the street high enough to be seen over snow drifts, plow ridges, parked cars/trucks and other obstructions. Turning their heads to the side to see an address is dangerous? Come ON! Sheesh! Sounds like another sales pitch! LOL How about turning your head and LOOKING DOWN? That's not dangerous? Can't buy that one. And yes, GPS is notoriously inaccurate. (And phone apps are worse yet.) It will get you to the area but that's the best you can expect. Plus I know of places where addresses have been changed. A friend's place had his address changed so it can take years for that to be updated in a GPS database. It's always a good idea to have someone outside waiting for emergency vehicles if that's a possibility. That's NOT a bad thing. Around here, the police will almost always if not always respond first to a medical so an ambulance can usually figure out where the problem place is located. Most cops know the locale quite well so they can find the place quite efficiently. FWIW as I mentioned on the parking, fire departments often have issues with people parked in the streets so they have trouble getting the trucks through. There's been times they've just pulled up and pushed cars out of the way so they could get through. There's the advantage of those huge bumpers and powerful engines.
