I pray that your DH's surgery goes well and that you will be able to handle the stress of the surgery and taking care of your grandson's needs.
Do you have someone that can help with the grandson,taking or bringing him home,etc? Maybe make arrangements with another parent to help out?

You are in my thoughts and prayers, too. My DH had a quadruple bypass 5 years ago. The key to recovery is getting up and walking as soon as possible. And completing the rehab, too. He's done great and the cardiologist says he is better than new. Just take one day at a time and you will get through it.

Pawsitive, you got 'em! Just as an FYI, my brother has had his aortic valve replaced 3 times starting when he was just 8 and the last one 3 years ago (he was just turning 50). So tho it is not a walk in the park, do know that all came out very well for him!

I had a quad by pass 11 years ago and still hanging around.. Keep moving and he should do well... medicine has come a long way in the past 11 years, so his should go like clock work. I will lift him up in prayer.... and that the Lord will guide the hands of the surgeons and that He will place His healing hands upon your DH.

I pray that God will hold you all close to Him for comfort as you wait for this procedure to be finished and your DH is back home again.

I'll be praying for him tomorrow. I'll be in dialysis 5:30 to 9 am so I know I'll be watching the clock when he goes for surgery. Prayers for a good outcome and fast recovery. and a prayer for you and your family too.

Sending prayers for you and the medical staff. Dh had a bypass about 7 years ago, in his 70's and made it thru fine. Don't be afraid to ask someone to help out, and make sure the teacher and principal knows what is going on to help the grandson. Talk about it, and even have a medical person help out if needed. That is so important to a younger person. Good luck

Did you say how old your grandson is?

I read on here about keeping a notebook or something with prayer lists...I think it is a great idea. There seem to be so many with needs it hard to remember if you've prayed for all of them.

I think I will start a book..and yes I will pray for your husband and you too, because I been in the "waiting room" myself a few times.
