Deciding Between Two Tinplate Tart Pans

I would have posted this question on the Cookware Forum, but it is so riddled with Spam that I preferred to post here, hope that's OK. Anyway, I want to buy a tart pan with a removable bottom. I plan to make quiches and fruit tarts with them. Cooks Illustrated tested a few, and came to the conclusion that the traditional tinplate material is best. They liked the Kaiser Tinplate tart pan (Kaiser calls it a "Quiche Pan"). I also saw one at Williams-Sonoma. Price is not an issue, as both are priced very reasonably: the Kaiser is $12.00, and the W-S pan is surprisingly cheaper (usually I find W-S to be expensive) at $8.00. The Kaiser pan is made in Germany, and the Williams-Sonoma pan is made in France, if that makes any difference. I was wondering if anyone has either one of these, or any other observations, and can advise me for or against? Thanks.
