Suggestions to try:

Smaller loads, especially for permanent press or items treated with wrinkle-resisting resins;

Move stuff immediately to the dryer;

Dry on lower-heat setting;

Remove clothes before bone dry;

Remove clothes immediately at end of cycle, allow to hang and cool.

Get a clothesline (sorry, I'm just big on clotheslines as a way to reduce wrinkling).

The biggest thing is reducing the size of the load if the items getting wrinkled have any synthetic component or wrinkle-free treatment. Permanent press cycles usually do have slower spins speeds, and a cool down step at the end of the wash phase, so be sure you're choosing the right cycle for your stuff.

I think the idea of reducing the spin speed so that the dryer has a longer chance to dry the clothes is truly a silly suggestion - but then I've gotten, and heard of, plenty of idiotic "explanations" for laundry issues/problems coming from Miele staff over the phone and at their showrooms, so I'm not surprised. I was once told by a telephone c/s person at the 800 number that their "machines couldn't be at fault because so many wealthy people buy them and put them in their expensive homes". ????????

There is also a small chance your detergent and water combination is not working well, but I'd try reducing the load size, first, then make sure you're using the correct cycle and water and drying temps, and only then consider reducing the spin speed below the presets.

I find that I can't spin heavier things on the highest setting...medium works well for me. I also make sure to casually fold jeans and sheets, not perfectly but enough so tha they don't get a chance to open up and twist in the dryer. It works great. I fold jeans by putting the legs together then folding in half, and sheets about 3 or 4 times, alternating folds.

Use a much lower heat setting on the dryer. Try the lowest heat setting you have available.

I have a FridGEmore set with the "Normal, Perm Press, Knits, Delicate" settings. I use the two lowest settings (Knits, Delicate) most often. "Normal" I use only for towels - because it dries clothing so fast it bakes the wrinkles in.

I had this same problem when I switched from a TL to a FL. The clothes come out of the FL so much dryer (or much less wet) than they do from a TL that a high dryer temperature setting can dry the clothes so quickly (because they are so much drier to start with) that the wrinkles never get a chance to be tumbled out.

Here's my theory: In order to get the wrinkles out in the dryer, clothes need to tumble for a period of time when they are BOTH damp and warm. Using the lowest temp setting allows the clothes to tumble while they are still damp.

Although I haven't timed it, I don't notice that it takes longer to dry the clothes with a lower temperature setting. If I'm doing loads back-to-back, the load in the dryer is done about the time the next load in the washer is done.
