I felt crappy all day...have a throbbing headache that won't go away, and I can't get warm. Chicken soup for me, hubby said he will have a bowl of cornflakes and toast and peanut butter.

Had my hands full, all day, today.

GS's dermatologist visit, today, and his little sister, had to come along, cause she didn't have a sitter.

The Fish Market, for me, I had grouper fingers, and GS had grilled shrimp and we shared with his little sister.

Tried a new recipe tonight for Chicken and Rice Casserole. It was very good. We also had green beans and homemade cranberry sauce.

Chicken and dumplings. I am trying to empty the freezer so I can stock it up with food in individual containers for Bobby while we are in Florida.

Well I'm stuffed tonight I had a Marie Callenders grilled Chicken Alfredo bake with a slice of Glenda's Texas toast I put the slice on top for the last 30 seconds.
Last night I had her Sweet and Sour Chicken and it wasn't too good.

I had a few pieces of pork and chunk of prime rib leftover the the New Years holidays so I sliced it all very thin against the grain and made a vinegar based barbecue sauce and cooked it slowly. It melted in your mouth. So we had barbecue with roasted garlic scalloped turnips, green beans and for dessert we are finishing up the mini cupcakes.

Meatball grinders, made spag & meatballs the other day & always make extra meatballs.

Liver and onions...then nighbor's DH came over with a loaf of warm banana bread. That along with a glass of white wine was a good meal!

Phyllis, you're killin' me. I just love liver and onions but I hate handling the raw liver. Man, your dinner sounds good.

So does your, Mary3444. I make a bunch meatballs when the mood hits and freeze them in serving portions. There are so many uses for meatblls.

Gadgets, I could've used some nice, hearty beef and noodles if I hadn't eaten lunch so late. Suppose to get down to 28 tonight.

Minnie, isn't that bread delicious? Have you ever tried a Marie Callender pie? The pumpkin is to die for! Even the crust is good.

we had stuffed baked poatoes...used tuna in cream sauce...

has anyone else had trouble with bakers and rough skinned? didn't get the size i usually do, cause i could only find 2 smooth ones...

I haven't Susan. I just cooked a large baker yesterday for potato salad and it seemed "normal". I buy those a lot. We don't eat a lot of potatoes for some reason, so I buy just a few of those at a time. In the end it doesn't cost anymore, because I don't have any in the pantry growing sprouts. I like stuffed potatoes!!

Susan, I'm so glad you mentioned this! We don't eat potatoes very often but were looking for a couple for New Years Eve dinner. They were so nasty looking that we didn't buy them, instead I roasted a few new potatoes that we had left from Christmas. I thought it was just the store.

Patti, the turnips were just a substitute for sliced potatoes that I would usually use. I do that often, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Same with throwing food together, I think it is a recessive gene from my grandma's frugality! LOL!!!! But sometimes it doesn't work either....you just don't hear about it! LOL!
