Suggestions for New Bread Machine

Hi All,

I'm shopping for a new bread machine and would like your input. My old one lasted 10 years but is on its last legs. I would like to get one that makes a true horizontal loaf. IÂve checked the appliances forum and read their suggestions but I would really like you, the bakers' input. Lately I've been using my bread machine for just kneading and rising and then using regular loaf pans to bake because we're sick of tall slices that don't fit in the toaster. I'm by no means a master bread maker. In fact without a bread machine to knead and rise the dough I'm a remedial at best though I can make a pretty decent Artisan Bread in my cast iron Dutch oven.

I make bread because we like the freshness, flavor, and texture; IÂm frugal and like organic, whole grain breads and it cuts down of trips to the market.

One feature I would like on the new machine is a delayed start feature. My current machine does not have that feature and with working 2 jobs, IÂm always juggling to make sure someoneÂs around to deal with the bread when itÂs finished baking and/or cooling.

Thanks for the help.

Kim
