I picked up some really nice stuffed pork chops at the grocery store so I will bake those tonight and do some oven roasted red potatoes to go with it and a spinach salad.

IHOP again, and they must have run out of pancake batter cause the pancakes were much smaller than usual.

Must have had too many NY's Day for early/late breakfast were skimpy with their pancakes today.

Wonder if georgesmom enjoyed the Ak coleslaw?

We had creamed dried beef over homemade biscuits and green beans. Nothing fancy, just quick and easy.

omg 6 degrees is not even in my vocabulary, I can't stand the cold, I had a hard time living in Denver. It is chilly in the Houston area here at home it's 42.
My little dog hates the cold too, she has on her polar fleece hoodie and is in my lap completely bundled up in her soft fluffy blanket. I might be enjoying the blankie too.

When I got up this morning I had the flu. I was going to go to Pierre and get a haircut and go to the chiropractor but cancelled my appointment. I had chicken noodle soup and DH had a hamburger. I feel a lot better now,

I have several choices but went out for lunch today to celebrate a friends birthday. I had fish tacos....never had that before. They came out with three tacos. I liked it but wasn't that hungry Brought two home. Went to Ladies night out tonight and had a ham biscuit. When I came home, DH had finished the other two tacos so I just had what was left of the Alaskan cole slaw. That was dinner tonight.

I have been out straight all day getting the house and motor home ready for our trip tomorrow. Also had a hairdresser appointment for a perm. Got the motor home all set to leave in the morning. We are headed to the Phoenix area to visit with some of Mike's cousins he hasn't seen in probably 40 years.

Dinner tonight was stuffed pepper soup that was in the freezer. Also had a salad and garlic bread.

Glenda, yes I really liked the slaw. I didn't have green pepper but had everything else in the house. I will definitely be making it again. It's a keeper.

Raven, your poor little pup! Don't know why I said that--should've said your pampered little pup! At least you're keeping each other warm.

Glenda, that's unusual for IHOP. They're generally more than generous with those pancakes.

Oh, Shirley--I don't know how you can take that cold. I whine at 60!!

Azzalea, I'm adding that to my meal list for next week. We love that stuff! And I don't think about it because I don't usually have dried beef in the pantry. Thanks for the idea!

Bengardening, best thing you can do is rest and keep downing that soup. Sure hope you're better soon. It's too cold to be outside anyway :-)

Georgysmom, I've never had fish tacos either. I think your dinner party was last Friday and I forgot to ask how it went? How many people did you have?

I thawed out chicken for DH~but he insists he is having the left over ham~~~tomorrow is trash day and we are getting rid of any leftovers. He even threw out the ice cream DD#2 left here;( I am off sweets but if it is here~~too tempting.

I am not sure what I will eat~~~maybe pop corn.

Jim 'n Nicks here has fried catfish filet taco days on Tuesdays and they are fabulous!

I had a cheese and green chile quesadilla and what's his name had rutabegas and potatoes.

It is in the 20's here in Indiana. We just spent a week in southern Indiana and we had 15 inches of snow. Tonight we had cheeseburgers, corn from the garden (yummy) fruit and cottage cheese. Tomorrow we are having chicken and noodles with good old mashed potatoes.

I made wild salmon, mashed potatoes, biscuits, and peanut butter cup brownies for dessert. A lot of carbs, but it was yummy.
