Milk and eggs

This is a story which is perfectly logical to all males:

A wife asks her husband, "Could you please go shopping for me and buy one carton of milk, and if they have eggs, get 6."

A short time later the husband comes back with 6 cartons of milk. The wife asks him, "Why did you buy 6 cartons of milk?"

He replied, "They had eggs."

(I'm sure you're going back to read it again!)

Reminds me of the time I sent DH to the store to get a bunch of green onions for a potato salad I was making.

Of course, I thought he knew that a group of a dozen or so green onions rubber-banded together was a bunch. NOPE. He brought me a BUNCH of onions - 5 RUBBER-BANDED-TOGETHER bunches! Seriously, he thought that's what I wanted.

It was hillarious - after I figured it out. Yes, I had to read it a couple of times. Many men are concrete listeners. Am I one too? (concrete listener - not man.)

bwahahahahahahahaha!!!! I too can see that happening, tho I think DH would be smart enough to figure it out.....but the onions? I know that I would have gotten 5 bunches as well.

I got it immediately. DH didn't get it at all. That's because if I send him to the store and say I want six lemons, he'll come home with three. I know now, if I want three lemons, I ask for six. Never fails, he'll come home with three which is what I wanted.

Littlebug, Laughed at the bunch of onions even though it would never happen here.

Paula, I've seen that video many times and never tire of it. It's hilarious.
