Any one see the Love Saga?

It was on last night. It's the beginning of the "Love Come Softly" series. It's the Prequel to the story. I had never seen or heard it, it was good. The first one is "Love Begins", then "Love's Enduring Courage". If your a Jannette Oke fan you will love these 2 movies.

I love my floor in my family room. It's Mannington- Heritage Hickory, engineered floor. It comes in several shades. The color we chose is Topaz. I don't have a picture of my family room, but I have a link with a picture of the floor. This program is of interest to anyone who is researching their own family. One can pick up pointers and techniques, many of which I found that my wife and I were already using. It is very much like being a dectective on a "cold case". The only problem I have is my envy of their having an almost unlimited travel budget and for hiring very highly trained technicans and their diagnostic equipment. The thrill of discovery is enjoyable and enlightening. If your ancestors were here when this country was being founded, you'll very liklely find a connection to Early US history. For example, my wife found that her ancestors were involved with the building of the Erie Canal; I found that I had a g-g-granfather who had served under Andrew Jackson and was later a Captain in the Black Hawk War. One of his sons was in the Mexican war, and before that, 4 brotheres were in the American Revolutionaey War with Britian.

I missed it, so thanks for posting the link! I know people love to hate Kate, but I admire her organization. How she keeps a household with 8 young kids going is beyond me. I have 2 and am overwhelmed at times. I remember from her past show that she appeared to be very involved in her kids (even if it meant more work for her) i.e. going places, eating healthy. I thought she seemed nice during the show, but appeared catty at the end when they all met? Is that editing or her real personality? Who knows? I think she must be lonely doing that all by herself. But honestly, not many men would want to get involved with a woman with 8 kids. I also don't think Kendra is a Diva. I think she just lets Hank do everything. He wants to take care of her (a little too much). But he is WRONG-if he didn't do it, it wouldn't get done! Doubt Kendra would step up. That being said, I don't thinkthere is anything wrong with her having Girl's Night Out, once in a while, but she needs to focus on her son and family more. Can't understand why they wouldn't eat dinner together as a family? Why have kids if you don't want to spend time with them?

They newer photos of your paint look pretty close to my kitchen and family room walls. :-) Don't worry about the mini-novel. It's the cheapest therapy there is, and if you can get a laugh in here or there, pretty good medicine too. You're doin' good!

I've been a Janette Oke fan for a long, long time. I have quite a few of her books. I read them every 3 or 4 years. I've seen all her movies too. I don't think she wrote either prequel though. I enjoyed both of them.

There are 11 movies in the "Love Saga", and they are all wonderful. My father was here last week, and we watched one of the newer ones that I had DVR'd. He loved it, so this weekend, I DVR'd most of the others, so he can watch them on future visits. There is only one that I don't have on the DVR now. I can watch them over and over and never get tired of them. I've followed them ever since the first one came out in 2003.

Never saw any of them. Last night I watched "Downton Abbey" for the first time. Liked it but I couldn't pick up on all the threads of plot.

Do a google on Larry Levinson productions, He produced the Saga and you;ll see the list of feel good good family movies he has produced. I noticed this year in the credits for most of the nice seasonal movies his name popped up

Yes, and it is so refreshing to see a decent movie on tv. I have bought and read most of her books as well.
