New HE Laundry Detergent called Laundry Dropps
Comments (11)I would like to hear how well these pouches work and how well the detergent can be rinsed out of the clohtes. Their web site says that the pouches give just the right amount of cleaning...something like that. How do they know how much detergent I will need for a small lightly soiled load? How about a large load that has heavy soil. You surely don't need the same amount of detergent for both of these types of loads....See MoreAriel, FOCA, Roma and other Mexican detergents
Comments (5)We switched over to FOCA in our top loader a few months ago. It suds up quite a bit, but the rinse water is clean so it rinses out well. I have also used it in a FL machine with a reduced dose and with an extra rinse the rinse is clean as well. We had some items that had stains in them like some cotton curtains and some old white countertop appliance covers. We washed them using Persil and some stains would never come out. We used FOCA and they look like new. We love the scent of FOCA, very minimal and smells just clean, not like some fruit punch bowl. I feel this is how laundry is susposed to smell. We find it at Walmart for $3.22(USD) for a bag that lasts us about 5 months. You certainly can't complain about the price!...See MoreFoca detergent - super white whites!
Comments (20)I tried homemade detergent and it just hasn't impressed me except it is cheaper. When I saw 22POUNDS of detergent for less than $14, I literally laughed out loud! I've read all of your posts and can't wait to try it honestly. My whites are a little dingy. Question: I have LG front loader and want to be sure about how much to use per load. With three ACTIVE and dirty kids and a farm manager for a husband, I don't do partial loads. Also, what about water plus...use it or not? Sorry to sound dumb, just want to be sure. Last question, is the Ecover bleach mentioned safe for colors? THANKS ALL!...See MoreLiquid vs powdered laundry detergent
Comments (27)I used to live in a hard water area up till 6-7 years ago, I used powders than also without a problem. Sure there was much less suds but suds arnt an indicator of the detergent working. I did however add a tiny bit more detergent at that time. Its true though hard water makes it harder for detergent to work...STPP will solve peoples hard water issues. I don't know aa, I live in a soft water area, powders are almost obsolete here. Really irritates me. I've heard a lot of people across the country complaining powders are hard to find.I have a feeling the day will come when powders will be a thing of the past, maybe every 10 years P&G will produce a Anniversary Edition of one of the Tide offerings in a small box with a ridiculously high price tag. I can't understand why jugs of liquid detergent that are a large amount of water is preferable to ship. Thats another thing some day the liquids will probable come in a tiny 4 ounce bottle with directions to add 32 ounces if water to it. Lol. Ya powders are hard to find....See Morehappymomof2kids
