Help buying a new a/c system

Our 7-year old American Standard 3-ton Alegiance 16 two-speed system is on its last legs and running all the time. Elec bill is much higher than all our neighbors but our house is smaller. Almost all windows are new. Leaking freon. Need to replace it. Got a proposal for either the Trane XL20i at $11,870 or the Trane XR15 at $8,055 -including electrical work, all ductwork and relocating air handler in attic to a different location there. Live on the water in S Florida & have another Trane 19 two-speed system on other side of house. We know both systems qualify for the $1,500 federal tax credit plus FPL rebates. The old system keeps house cool and humidity controlled well. What do you recommend? The XR 15 or 20i. We will keep shopping to get a better price locally if possible. Many thanks! Susan
