What's for dinner Sunday?

I've had Nita's recipe for Sid's Onion Soup forever and every time I see it I think to myself, "you have to try that". Well, today was the day. I made it earlier today so had a taste and it's yummy. I'll toast some sliced baguette and melt gueyere (sp?) cheese to put on top of the soup. I don't have any oven-proof soup bowls. Have to say that soup was fun to make. I'd never caramelized onions before. Boy, it takes a long time!

With it we'll have the avocado/cucumber/tomato salad I posted on the "I'll Share My Recipe" post this morning.

What are you having this evening?
