Most recommended windbreaks around here start with an outside row of caragana, then lilacs, poplar and finally Colorado blue spruce all oriented in a relaxed V with the wind hitting the apex of the V.

Also have the Gaiam mat. I have the Sticky Mat, and at the time I purchased mine, the mat came with a video for at home yoga. Seems to me that I purchased mine at least 4-5 yrs. ago, and it doesn't show any signs of wear. The Sticky Mat on the Gaiam link is a bargain. I know I paid more than the price on the Gaiam link when I purchased mine on a trip to Canyon Ranch.

My dermatologist recommended CeraVe. I use the moisturizing lotion on my face, morning and night -- haven't tried the one with sunblock. I slather the moisturizing cream (in a jar) all over the rest of me after I bathe. (And I do mean *slather*.) I know the cream is intended for the face, but I don't care. I like this much better than Lubriderm or any oil. She also recommended Cetaphil body wash, but it leaves a sort of greasy feel. I was told to avoid hot baths -- not doing that either. (Bad patient.) Maybe it I 'cut' the Cetaphil with baking soda, like Sushipup... Who has something good for the cuticles? Mine want to take over my nails. I can't push them back without bleeding -- even after a bath -- and then they won't stay back. There's no 'give' there. At 75, my skin is too thin. Well, *I* am too thin, too. BTW, it's my understanding that we have skin to form a protective *barrier*. This means none of the products you put ON your skin go much beyond the surface. Some of the products 'rough up' (destroy) the top layer of cells so that they slough off faster (the 'glow'), but a 'moisturizer' can really only put a layer of protection between your skin and the drying air. 'Moisturizers' that promise more should probably all be labeled "Hope" or "Faith" or "The Power of Positive Thinking" because our protective layer of skin won't let them penetrate. They can only help keep drying air away from whatever moisture is IN the skin.

I only rarely listen to music now days. Unless driving and trying to stay awake, or nerves calmed. Even then I prefer talk radio or audio books. The only bluetooth audio device I have in my house is a headset which I've used mainly for audio books while walking. I didn't realize bluetooth didn't have the bandwidth to keep up with higher bit rates. As a test, I just now tried transferring a 17 minute 772 kbps flac song over bluetooth to my laptop in the same room and it just barely kept up. The image shows 102 kilo BYTES(capital B) per second which would be 816 kilo bits per second. The song is 772 kilo bits per second so if it had transferred at the same rate beginning to end it would have just barely kept up. But I noticed it was initially transferring at about 91 kB/s (728 kb/s) so it would have been dropping a few frames, stuttering, or however it handles the loss. But it should be plenty fast enough for (even 320kb/s) mp3 quality songs though, right? ETA: Just for the heck of it I just transferred the same song back from my laptop to my desktop using wireless wifi. 20 seconds or less over wifi as opposed to almost 20 minutes over bluetooth. Now I remember why I never use bluetooth to transfer files. It is (relatively) slow. Or at least mine is. :)
