Thanks for the reply, that's got to be what they are. Most info doesn't seem to mention them liking grape leaves, but these guys seem to like them. I am a bit confused because they are supposed to hibernate through the winter as first instars, so I will probably just put the 2 I have back where I found them.

I took pictures but don't know if we can post them on the board. Here is how I do it, though there are other ways. Once you have your pics on your computer, you will then need to put them on an on-line photo storage site. I use Photobucket. It is Free, and you can join here Once you have your Photobucket account set up, you will need to upload the pics you want to post here. After you have them uploaded, just follow the instructions below. 1...just type your message,...or in this case a reply to this post, changing the Subject of Posting line by one character, if necessary. 2...open Photobucket in another tab, or window. 3...find the pic you want to post in the message, 4...click on HTML code found in the third box below the pic. It will say copied in yellow, 5...go back and paste the HTML code in your message box, 6...hit preview, You will then see your message, and the actual pic, and 7... lastly hit submit. If you have any problems, stop over at The Test Forum Gallery. There are several 'regulars' there that will be glad to help you if need be. Sue

Kelsey Do not only take plants out to dry out (but perhaps you mean out of the cachepots?) - if you have outdoor space, leave them outside for whole summer. Succulents need to be acclimatized to outside, and that could be accomplished in a week right now. After that, they will grow much better than indoors. Your cachepots are very nice, I am sure displaying plants in them looks better than plastic pots, especially if you are using them as décor throughout the house (I wouldn't get any awards for décor, lol. Vast majority of my pots are plastic, few are terracotta). That is personal decision, but be aware that even if you don't see it heat will build up in that small space, can't escape and keeps plastic pot damp longer. Leaving them out (plastic pots) for few hours after watering definitely helps (while wouldn't do it with many plants I have). This is not a criticism, just helpful hints.
