I have used ImageShack for years it is super easy to use. Just register a freeaccount ,use the upload button find the pics on your pc and uploadthem it even gives the option to reduce size. Then go to the pic on your account select the top option to share then from the various options choose the one labeled for sites, copy and paste that code into your reply box here at GW.

Tiny Pic is one that many use as well. Knock wood, I have used photo bucket for a really long time without issue. I also know that Shutterbug is good, I use them for some of our business photos.

Log in to Photo bucket
Click on upload at the top in green
My pictures are on my computer so I clicked on computer
Cilck on select photo in green
go to your pictures and click and open
Then save
Go to album in blue
click on picture and on HTML code under the picture
Now go back to garden forum where you are wanting to put your picture and right click on paste. the code will appear.
Go down and preview message and your picture should be there. I just sent one from there of out grandfkids.

I've had trouble with Photobucket recently too. It's odd because I've never had trouble before. I cannot see the "green button" to upload. I've tried a couple things to get it to work, but no luck. It takes so much time to struggle with these things, so I totally understand your frustration, Caroline.

Are you missing the green upload button too? Is that your problem?

The green upload button is up on the top line where my name is.. Hope this helps..

It seems to be a problem between my slow computer, photobucket, and my lack of patience. Hummm...human error? Can I still pitch a hissy-fit?

I used the bulk uploader and did manage to get the photos put into the proper album and some of them posted on my Bedroom Tiling thread.

I know exactly how you feel! I hate it too. I moved all my stuff to Tinypic, It may be the same company but it works just fine. I have never had a problem with it.

If you have a slow connection you're likely to have trouble with any photo hosting. Maybe your photos are so large they should be reduced in size. That way they'll not only upload faster to the hosting site but they'll post faster for people on the threads. Irfanview is a great (and free) program that is simple to use and a great image viewing program in addition. Most of the time I reduce the size of pictures posted. They're still fine for clarity and size when posting.

So just relax, Call Harry and Sam over to calm you down. They wouldn't mind a treat or two either!
