Hi, Terri. Did you get the phone? Mine came this afternoon and I have it hooked up, but haven't programed all the goodies in yet.

I was disappointed to find that it came with only 1 charger. The site, the box and the instruction book show it is supposed to have 2. There were 3 adaptors, which would be correct if there were 2 chargers. I have emailed Staples and now I'm waiting to hear back from them.

If you got the same one, did it have 1 or 2 chargers?

Model is KX-TG1062.

Sue, haven't sent hubby to the store..well I tried..but he didn't go yet. I'll get him on that early next week. If I bug him today about it, he'll whine since it's Friday and traffic already will suck.. LOL

Terri, you for sure don't want a whiney husband over the weekend. I guess that would be a WH, right? ;-)

According to the ad, this deal is only good through 1/30. I'm sure they will have others though. I haven't heard back from Staples yet.

Hope your weekend is good; we are getting more snow. Supposed to be here by in the morning.

Sue, I'm glad it worked out for you so well. It is the only rub I use and I put in on or in everything. In ground beef for burgers or meatloaf, on pork, chicken, beef and shrimp. The BBQ sauce is good enough to drink..LOL I always add a bit extra Maple syrup..because I love it. The sauce lasts a good long time in a jar with a lid in the fridge..okay well if you happen to make a triple batch and need it around for a while...LOL

Still my birthday officially in my time zone for about 46 minutes. LOL So you are just fine Linda and Nancy.. Lee, no such thing as a non baseball night in July..LOL I had a Maggie Moo's ice cream tonight..and hubby bought me some new fancy sun glasses...A few birthday wishes and hugs...and that was about as good as it gets... My mother, 86, finally carries hers when she leaves her apartment, after i kind of scolded her for not taking it down to play cards, etc. Last fall, though, she tripped right after getting up, smashed against her coffee table and broke her jaw in two places. Much bleeding. Thankfully, she had her life-alert type thing on and managed to push it. I shudder to think what may have happened otherwise.

I'm going to say the answer is Yes, same data usage either way. If you want to be sure, call the carrier. Another thing to do is to ask them to turn off their data and maximize the use of Wifi connections on the trip and at home between now and the end of the billing cycle. (Wifi to public locations like a hotel, Starbucks, McD's, libraries, not to one of the other phones) Some carriers charge less for overages if you buy it in advance (temporarily up your monthly quota and then drop it after the billing period ends), others don't. You can ask about how that works when you call, if that concerns you.

Well Sue, now that you pointed me in the direction of the phone I can check for it other places as well..so I'm not to worried about the pricing...It seems like the right phone for our house.

I went and did some looking...I think you are missing your charger...LOL

Terri, thanks for solving my problem. . . I think you are right. I'm missing my charger.

I got a reply from Staples. Their suggestion was

Unfortunately, Staples does not stock phone parts at this time. Please contact the manufacturer,
Panasonic, at (800) 833-9626 for the missing parts, or, reply to email to have the entire unit replaced.

Having it replaced means I would have to pack it up and ship it back I guess, so I'm going to call them tomorrow, and I hope they will send me one. A nuisance either way.
