Thank you for the practical advice, I know I need it. He has crates downstairs upstairs and in my car! We already had 2 "cage" style ones and I bought a smaller travel one for the car so I can take him more places. He spends the nite upstairs with us but in his crate, and when I go to work or what ever if dh is not home he's in the crate downstairs. Luckily I work part time and mostly make my own hours so I can come home after a few hours and take him for a potty walk. I also put him in his crate if I'm doing a relatively dangerous craft, like cutting up plates for mosaic. I'm hoping the 2 long walks per day, plus getting up and haveing to be "raring to go" like him, will help me to lose weight. We'll see! Thank you again for your interest. We just love him, and even the kitties are deciding they might like him too. I'm hoping to post a pic soon of him sleeping with one of the kitties. Theyare close to doing it. Kathy

Hello Nora, I'm very sorry for your loss. I lost my mother a little over a month ago to a sudden massive heart attack. She was 70. Refused to see a doctor for the past 15 odd years. Any how, while the pain is great at this stage (first week and a half were the hardest for me) you can rest assured that things will get "easier" as time passes. Just try your best to keep strong. Talk to close friends, friends of your mother and take care of your father. Post on forums like this. I've found that in trying to help others I usually end up making myself feel better too in the process. As you tend to workout some of the things that might be bothering you and didn't realize it. And try to carry on with your daily tasks. As hard as that maybe. This combination has helped me move on. Just take it day by day. If you have any questions or comments just post! Sorry that you lost that important, if seldom seen, friend, (((((Sue))))). It is hard to lose our friends ... and as we get older they, sort of like teeth, get fewer and fewer. A while ago I found that I wanted to keep my enhanced driver's licence ... not that I figured to drive a truck, really, but one wants to hang on to the privileges, I think. I was thinking that one sort of feels the walls closing in, and one wants to keep pushing them back, as long/much as possible. The other day I drove a friend to his brother's ex-wife's funeral ... along with that brother. She was somewhat younger, and they'd been friends, so he found that losing her troubled him somewhat. He told me that I shouldn't die for at least 20 years ... that he didn't want to have to grieve over me (a fairly recently acquired friend). So, I told him ... "You want to stick me with grieving over you, then, is that it?"! Life do have its problems!

We've had a modified aqua zumba a year or so ago, but think this one will be so much better with a certified instructor. Plus having a class on Saturday! I'm not good with the floor zumba. Parke will be home in Sept ,from Hawaii, for a month, then he'll be stationed in VA :o)

kk...everyone in this family is so I hope he loves books as much as we do. Now to find the darn things !

ded, mj and mitch...thank you . Didn't get a pic yesterday so bet they were busy. MIL leaves on Tuesday so I am sure they are cooking and cleaning to have things nice for a while after she leaves.

I am so proud of my son....looks like he has been a Dad for a long time. c
