"long bank" ... "steep bank" ... "thick wild onion plants" This area will be in almost full sun and likely has only a thin cover of topsoil over a compacted subsoil rich in clay. Eradicating wild onion from this site will be a long and difficult process and will also kill everything on it. The result will be heavy erosion. I suggest you stop and consider what a bare eroded slope that won't grow anything will look like. First you should determine the degree of slope you have. Then consider changing to only those things that can be done successfully on that steep of slope. It probably isn't flowers. Work on this slope in phases. Do no more than a 5 foot strip accross the slope at any one time. Make sure the soil is stable and the ground cover is well istablished before starting the next strip. Construction on a slope should start at the bottom and work up. But planting should start at the top and work down. The reason for this is that erosion starts at the bottom and goes up. If you start at the bottom and amend the soil for good plant growth you give erosion the foothold it needs. The erosion will follow you up the slope. Start at the top!

Does anyone have pictures of using curtains outside the glass enclosure? Curious how it looks. Has anyone used frosted/ matte privacy film and then removed it because you were in a rental or selling? Curious how long it lasted, did it get dirty or yellow, how did you clean it, and how well/ easily did it come off? We are facing the same dilemma regarding clear shower glass enclosures for 2 different showers. I don't want to see any family members showering or be seen. I don't think it's sexy when people actually really clean themselves with a washcloth/ loofah, shave themselves, use a foot-scrubber, etc. People need privacy to clean their private parts. I love how people say lock the door etc. The reality is all families are different with different routines. There are bathroom stress times with larger families; especially in homes with only 2 bathrooms. A cheap way to clean glass shower doors is to dilute DAWN dish soap liquid in a spray bottle. Spray glass and you can use a wet paper towel to rub it all over the glass too. Let it sit 10 to 15 minutes. You can either use a squeegee to get it off or rinse it off and then squeegee the water off or use microfiber towel. Dawn will not cause any damage to the glass or stone tile. I have seen people adding vinegar to the solution; the amount of vinegar added lessens the wait time and can add a pungent smell if lots of vinegar is added. Vinegar should not be used if you have any natural stone tile. Note: This Old House uses Dawn dish soap with vinegar & baking soda to clean grout lines and then re-seals the grout.

For some reason, I just cannot fall in love with Firefox, even though I have had it on my computers through various versions including 3.5. And IE is absolutely so slow, even v.8 that I use it only when I have to. I keep going back to Opera since I have never had the problems that others have had with GW. I do use Chrome to view a few websites, just because I like to keep it up to date. It's nice and fast and both it and Opera are not loaded down with a bunch of add-ons---just not necessary.

My bank is inconsistent with it. Sometimes they do and sometimes they are out of the doggie bones. Coal and Skye were disappointed when that happened a couple of times, and I hurt for them, they were wagging their tails just waiting for their doggie bisquit and nothing happened. So, after that I always keep doggie bones in my pocket book and when I am going to the bank and they don't give them a bone I will put the money in my pocketbook and I will pull out a bone for them. I try to make like the bones were in the envelope with the money. (Like they understand it is from the bank and not me...LOL, but they might...)
