Turkey Soup.

Finally got around to it today.

Turkey meatballs and pasta. I made the meatballs last night. I'll make a salad too.

I'm trying that new Ronzoni Smart Taste pasta. I have a feeling my supermarket might be phasing out the Dreamfield pasta and I think this is similar.

Also Chicken...a broiled chicken cordon bleu i'm copying from a restaurant meal last week, with creamed corn and green salad.

I have chicken breast out to thaw. Any ideas? I am sick of cooking and tired of everything I cook.

Spaghetti with Ragu (I cheated) Sauce, Iced Tea...
and 2 men grumbling because I won't make garlic bread tonight! Too much starch! They don't want it bad enough to "DIY" so......I win! Besides, I gotta go to work at six until ?.....they'll survive!

Had a cornish game hen and stuffing last night.
Tonight is leftover stew and homemade cracked wheat bread.

Meatloaf. That thread on meatloaf has me craving it!

Do you ever fix baked lemon pepper chicken? It's SO easy! I just rinse the chicken breast(s), pour in a few tablespoons of lemon juice, add a little water, and sprinkle it with lemon pepper. (Any spices will do if you don't have that or don't like it.) Cook in a covered glass baking dish at 400 for one hour. EZ! And good!

I've also used a package of taco seasonings and just poured it on the chicken. :-) You can add a can of corn or beans if you'd like. I do it like that sometimes, then slice the chicken and eat it in a flour tortilla or chunk it up and eat it on a salad.

Smoked ribs! DH smoked them last night, and I will slow warm them in the oven when I get home. Not sure what else yet. "/

It is coming out of a bag tonight. Birds Eye Voila Three Cheese Chicken. Will make a Caesar salad to go with it.

We aren't eating tonight.

I've sat in front of the computer or TV all day so have nothing to prepare. Everything is either frozen or still at the store. LOL

Last night I made stuffed pork chops,with roasted reg and sweet potatoes and broccoli with cheese sauce,so thats my dinner for tonight.
Since DH is sick in bed with the flu,he'll be lucky if he can eat a bowl of soup.I make homemade soup and put it in mason jars,so opening a jar and heating it up will be the extent of my cooking.

I was going to eat the last piece of homemade lasagna but I had a piece for lunch so I think I will save it for tomrrow instead.

I have some frozen spanikopita I might put in the oven and have some frozen veggies (a mix of spinach, red/yellow peppers, green beans, snow pea pods, garlic shoots, and asparagus). Strawberries for dessert or I just might try to make a banana pudding made with the nilla wafers.

I am going to take a rotisserie chicken that my daughter bought yesterday and I am going to
pick off the meat, make some gravy for hot chicken sandwiches along with pasta sides
(creamy chicken noodles) and applesauce. The little ones will each have a leftover cupcake
from last night also and I may eat some cookies.

I'm having scraps. . .I mean leftovers, a little of this and a little of that. Last night I had the Chicken Enchilada soup that was posted here a while back. That is sooo good! I also had a baked apple. Some nice person had left me a bag with four Delicious apples in it, 1 red and 3 Golden. I will probably bake one tonight too.

I wanted the Chicken Enchilada Soup, but I didn't have all the ingredients. I've gotta get to the store.

Hawaiian Salad with crisp shredded lettuce, grilled chicken strips, pineapple chunks, shredded coconut, mandarin oranges, black and green olives - all covered with honey-mustard dressing - oh so good!

We're thawing out and having the white chili I made around Christmas. Just serving it with crackers tonight. We don't 'need' the cornbread. LOL

Leftovers from the shrimp stroganoff I made yesterday. It's so darned good I could eat it every day. Also Sister Shubert's yeast rolls, green beans and Pepperidge Farm Coconut Cake.

No one is home with me tonight so I had had 2 pieces of Danish Almond Kringle and a cup of coffee made fresh ground beans........and I'm NOT going to feel guilty :~)
