I didn't even think to take a picture....sorry! I'm glad that bottle made it unscathed...I always worry. The garlic was part of a set (with the press, dontchaknow?)So very legal. hehehe. I hope you find good things in the book, Lori. I haven't thoroughly checked it out yet. It was a little strange to be standing in Costco thumbing through it and seeing my recipe in there.

Thanks for the good wishes! It was a lovely day, just me and DH....Liana 's boyfriend finished up his Masters this week and she is off helping him move. We just got back from a massage (ahhhhhhh.....) and an excellent early dinner. DH hands me the laptop, "You haven't checked your forum today....it's your birthday." lol This was dinner: "Beef Tender with BÃ©arnaise Hand cut beef shoulder tender marinated in thyme, rosemary and sage, pan seared and oven roasted, served with sauce BÃ©arnaise, smashed Yukon Gold potatoes and seasonal vegetable". The smashed potatoes were cooked whole, smashed, and then fried until golden and crispy. Dessert was caramel and chocolate ganache layered in a peanut butter cookie crumb crust. omg Annie, I broke down and bought an All American last summer. I got a screen door for my birthday (which hopefully includes rebuilding my falling-apart front porch). awwww....I miss you guys too. Oh for high speed at home......

Thanks, all (and thanks for the heads-up EJ)! Linda and Linda...not to worry, I'm late too, lol. It was certainly a Monday. Loooong day at work, but DH took me for a very excellent alder-grilled salmon lunch. Work has been crazy, but if all goes according to plan I'll get to celebrate with a four day weekend. And it looks like it might be margarita weather, yay! I miss you guys...

Wow, double posts TWICE, it must be twice the birthday celebration! I think you need a really, really long weekend, just celebrate right through until Tuesday.

Thanks for the birthday birthday wishes, lol. No rest for the wicked...a morning of meetings, but at least they were with people I like.

Cathy, it was a gorgeous day. We all sat down the street from the CdA Resort and gazed longingly out a wall of windows watching people enjoy the park outside.

Annie, a long weekend sounds wonderful, but I gotta work today and Saturday. I'll do my best to catch the train to Margaritaville the rest of the weekend, hehe.

Sol, those margaritas will have to wait until tomorrow. The mindset was there, It was hot. And as we were watering in the last of the blueberries we planted, thunderboomers rolled in and all of a sudden it felt more like hot cider weather.

Supposed to be nicer tomorrow, so I talked myself into taking the day off. Four day weekend...whoo-hoo!
