Laura Vitali?

She's a young gal who started a cooking website of cooking demos of authentic Italian cooking. She lived in Italy until she was 12, when her family moved to the US.

She's become a youtube sensation. She's also been on the Recipe Rehab (think that's the right name) show where chef's take a family's favorite recipe and give it a healthy make-over.

She's a fantastic cook, a great TV personality, and I imagine she'll go far. The kitchen she films her website videos in is in her basement, and is an exact duplicate of her grandmother's Italian kitchen. I really enjoy watching her videos.

Nancy, I would love whatever seed you have to spare. I just updated my trade list, so see if I have anything you'd like in return. I have a large, shady yard that has a lot of open areas that I'll like to fill with natives and easy ground covers. I WS'd some Pesicaria and it's beautiful. Fan number 3 in and waiting to hear from GE. I did receive a letter from my "case manager" sounds weird huh???ha The letter states that if I have another fan blow out again they will replace the oven hmmmmm but, I was told to wait and see if they get new and improved fans... ugh Anyone else out there...any of the 178 replaced last month???????

Chisue, I'm also pretty good at noticing the same actor popping up in different series. I thought I noticed the change a couple of episodes ago, but when I Google it, Wikipedia and IMDb gives the credit to only one actress. Thanks to the KT I have extended my Instant Queue to include "Doc Martin". I'll have to look for others mentioned. I can't decide whether to start watching a new series before I finish Midsomer, or finish Midsomer then start another. I think I'll do the latter, then when there are no more Midsomers to watch I won't be so let down, I'll have the others to look fwd to. I'm really enjoying my streaming Netflix. I've also watched a few documentaries and some older movies. Unlike TV, there's always something new to watch on a cold winter's evening.

People do this all the time on forums everywhere. For instance, on a travel forum I frequent, posters often use the subject title, "Question" or the name of the city they are visiting (which is also the name of the forum. Or something cryptic like "What should I do?" Drives me nuts. Totally agree with Alisande. I've opened and reopened threads in which I had no interest because I couldn't remember what they were about, due to the subject not giving any hints. Since as soon as another poster adds a reply the post comes up in the "unread" colour it's hard to keep track of whether you've looked at it before unless you remember the title.

While looking on Youtube for other recipes in the past, I've run across and watched a number of her videos.
I like her move right along style...although at times she has a nasal tone which I let bother me :)
She does have a ton of videos...she must tape alot!
