Prayers needed please

Remember my little niece who had the surgery last year and almost died from infection? Well,they found a spot that may be another Carcinoma.They thought they could get to it through the rectum but now think it is too risky,so they are scheduling surgery.That too is very risky but the only alternative.Don't know when it will be but I assume from the way my sister is talking,probably within the next couple of weeks.Please pray for her.She has had such a hard time the last few years.Just pray that they get in and out without any problems.Thanks everyone.

Thank you so much for your prayers. I am not sure if Mike will be in rehab or not. I want so much to be there for him,but Jim will probably be starting radiation next week.We saw the Radiologist this afternoon and she says that it is good that Jim is not having pain in his hip.A lot of people wait until they are in pain and by that time the tumor is eating into the bone and he could have a broken hip or leg.Luckily they have been monitoring him all this time,so she thinks that things will go well. Mike doesn't have a tumor,it is several discs and a lot of nerve damage.Again, thank you for your prayers.They mean a lot to me.

Schoolhouse so far we've only heard of the one. I can't imagine what these people, kids and adults, are going thru. And the first responders having to do their job not knowing if they would find thier own child among the wounded. I have no idea if any were but still. If they were a parent they had to be going thru the same thing the other parents were but they still did their job. And a great one at that. I'm in Lorain county.

Just found out the ( the young man and family) had their furniture stored there also. They had moved with her mom who could not live by herself as she recovered from some serious surgery and the loss of her husband.

Would you let your little niece know, please, if it seems appropriate and useful, that a number of folks from various distant parts of our countries are thinking of her, sending good thoughts and hopes that things may go well with her through the next while?

And that some are offering prayers with similar intent.

Would you care to share her name, even if the other one that she doesn't use much, so that we could focus our prayers?

If not a good idea for her, possibly it might be comforting to the parents.

Sometimes it helps to know that even strangers, and folks at a distance that you've never met, are concerned about you.

Thanks OJ.Her name is Angie.I think some have the impression she is a child but she is an adult.I call her my "little" niece because she probably doesn't weigh 100 lbs. soaking wet! LOL Last year when she had the surgery that almost killed her she lost down to about 83 I think.
She has a disease that causes tumors,Carcinomas,to develop on any of her internal organs at any time.I think the first one they found was on her kidney and it has been downhill from there.Her last surgery back in the summer was to remove one from her bladder I think.They nicked her intestine during the surgery and she developed an infection and almost died.They had to reopen the incision and couldn't close it back until all the infection was out.She was just beginning to get her strength back and starting to feel better and they found this latest tumor.She is a tough little cookie though and I know she is going to make it through this just fine.Her surgery is scheduled for the 22nd.
