Well, you've learned one lesson: Don't ever register your domain through your host. It's a pain in the behind if you want to transfer it. I always recommend to people that you use a plain old domain registrar like gkg.net or godaddy.net (I prefer gkg.net myself). You can then point the domain to wherever you eventually host the site. Lesson two would be, do your research when getting a webhost. There are lots of bad ones out there. And plenty of good ones. The problem is finding "real" reviews of hosts (a lot of the review sites have fake reviews on them). I use www.webhostingtalk.com as a resource a lot, and search there on any potential hosts that I'm considering -- you generally get the straight scoop from people posting there. Lesson three: you get what you pay for. $2.00 a month web hosting is...well, frankly, a joke. That's probably why they get generally poor reviews. To get decent service, customer support, etc., you really need to be paying somewhere in the $8.00 - $15.00 a month range for shared hosting for a basic site, IMO. As for what to do now -- personally, I would try to move away from this host. I did a search on 1and1.com on the forum I mentioned above, and they seemed to be a pretty mixed bag as far as reviews. You can definitely do better than that. There is NO reason they should fight you on letting you take your domain with you -- you just need to be very upfront, and don't take any crap from them. On the other hand, if you don't want to deal with the mess of trying to move, you can try them for a while, and see how it goes. Some people do seem to like them just fine. Maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones!

The evap coil has multiple leaks. They used a sensor and it went nuts in about 4 different spots as it got near. They didn't offer a repair and just said to replace the ac unit. I know a few neighbors who did replace just the evap, around 1500 dollars. If it is just going to buy me 2-3 years until something else major goes, then it doesn't make a heck of a lot of sense. That being said, I would still rather not spend big money if I don't have to. As for how long in the house? Who knows. I didn't think I would be here this long.

Yes, the manufacturer warns of cracking during installation. You have to watch over the plumber to make sure the flange is tightened by hand only. They are good about sending replacements, but you will have to pay extra labor and get the sink out from the cabinet and countertop if anything happens.

@Lisa. I gotta say I think I made a decision today to use a fungicide this year. I thought about worst case scenarios. What's the worst thing that can happen if I DO NOT use a fungicide? Well, last year my front lawn got hammered by I believe necrotic spot ring. I even brought in some new sod to patch bad areas. You can't see damage from the street, but when standing on the lawn the small dead spots are all over the place. The if I get a similar outbreak this year, I might even lose the lawn. That's worst case and I believe it is a potential outcome. Now, what's the worst case scenario if I DO use fungicides? Well, really nothing all that bad. I might kill off all the good fungus, but is that really the worst thing? Plenty of people use fungicides every year and have nice lawns. I do not believe a fungicide kills any microbes or critters in the soil (the microherd) as it is only kills fungi. If my soil structure is good, it will still be good even without good fungi for a season or two. So I think in my case experimenting with the fungicide is a no brainer. Your lawn is not going to suffer greatly just because you might try preventive measures this year. Maybe that will give you something to consider if you haven't already.
