we just finished up the homemade veg. soup. Got a few yummy donuts at the deli this morning. Just had 1/2 a cream filled.

I have a pork roast with pineapples in the crockpot...I think a yams to go with it.

Eagles playoff noshing.

Right now...shrimp cocktail, chips and dip, trail mix.
Following halftime, will add....bite sized turkey croquettes, chicken wings, veggies and dip.

We were going to have salmon patties and oven fried fries for supper last night, but I talked the other half into taking me out for supper to Chilli's. So we're having the salmon tonight.

No junk food for me this week. I put on a few pounds...... Being home all day is bad for me.

Not much. I'm just getting over some kind of bug.

I just had some tofu w/wild rice and pita chips. Dinner will be "guizo". I cuban dish made w/ onions, garlic, peppers, potatoes, corn and usually Vienna Sausages (chicken) but I'm putting more tofu in mine. Yum!

Eggplant parm , started it last night and got the rest ready today and it is going in the oven at 3. Totally delicious.

I have a horrible tooth ache for the last two days. I'm only eatting soft stuff today. Leftover Scallop Potatos for Breakfast, Avacodo & Mushrooms for Lunch and Tamales for Dinner.

See Mary Ann mentioned Tamales...now I can't get them off my mind.

Healthy stuff here. ;) I just had some home made french fries and two biscuits with butter. I am going to cook some chicken and make some dumplings. Well, I take that back. I am not going to make dumplings. I got some of those frozen ones to try. I really like fluffy dumplings but for some reason decided to try the frozen ones. Something different and it is cold here, so ought to be pretty good. If I don't like them the possums will probably eat them.

I had a sausage, egg & cheese taco for breakfast and a bowl of oatmeal for lunch. I may eat a tuna sandwich in a little while. Dinner is too far away for me to think about.

Now I have spinach squares in oven for tomorrow's potluck!

For brunch: Had salmon filet, mac n cheese, wheat toast.

Just finished making some chili so had to have a serving of that to check it out, of course. Also had cheese nachos.

I could handle some tamales, too. See what you started, Mary Ann. ;)

We'r having nodakgal's honey mustard chicken, steamed broccoli and bread sticks (Pillsbury). Probably the end of the cranberry relish, too. I can't wait to try that chicken!!

I made chili this morning and it's been in the crockpot all day, I just had a bowl. It was yummy..

Like Monica, we just finished watching the Eagles. Will get cheesesteaks at a local deli. Yum!

Made a nice soup today.........potatoes, cauliflour, leeks, onions, celery, carrots, veg broth and chicken broth, herbs, spices and coconut milk. Pureed it and made biscuits to go with it. YUM!

Believe it or not, I cooked today!

Wow Coconut Milk in soup. Hmmm! I had Asparagus Soup in Mexico years ago that I have been wondering what the secret ingredient is. It could have been Coconut Milk. Interesting.

DH and I went to local diner linner (lunch and dinner), he had pancakes with bacon and I
had fisherman's platter with a salad.
The platter consisted of everything fried: flounder, clams, shrimp, scallops and oysters. YUM YUM
If we should get hungry later we will find something to munch on.

Denny is cooking today...(he's been doing that lately....don't know what's got in to him...but I like it)

He put a roast on in the slow cooker earlier today...

Mashed potatoes (I get to make the gravy...lol)
Cooked carrots.
