Recipes for a family moving from meal help to self sufficient

Hi All,

I know I haven't been around for a few weeks, I haven't had a stove for 6 weeks so I was kinda bummed about cooking so I finally! have my new stove and I'm back in the LotsaHelpingHands group making dinners for a family who tragically lost their Mom [a friend in the special ed community] just before Christmas.

We're winding down on the meal service for the family and now I'm concerned about their ability to fend for themselves so I'm putting together an easy kid-friendly cookbook. I put out feelers to the LHH contributors but I only got 3 responses, I think our volunteers are burnt out.

I would love to have more easy recipes for their Dad to work with so they don't have to think too hard about meals. So if you have an easy kid friendly recipe [they have 4 kids ranging from 3rd grade to HS] I would truly appreciate it.

Thank you and Happy Spring to all,

Sands
