New solid maple chopping board

Lars

I got a new solid maple Ann T chopping board yesterday, and am very happy with it. My previous chopping board (one of Kevin's wedding presents from 20+ years ago) had split, and I really wanted one that was solid. I bought an acacia (laminated) Bobby Flay board from Kohls about a week ago (despite my threat to boycott all B Flay products - due to major disappointments), and I will still use that also, although I do not like the drip gutter on one side. I never slice beef or juicy meat on a chopping board, and so I do not need that feature.

Anyway, I am so happy now to have a solid board that will never split. I expect that the B Flay board will split in time, but I consider it recyclable anyway.
