Heating Oil is $4.60 a Gallon here

We don't know what to do. We live in an older home, and I know we need to blow some insulation into the bedroom ceiling, but even with the thermostat at 62 we use a minimum of 125 gallons a month.

We have a gas stove in the living area. We also have a coal stove with an augur in the basement that we're thinking of hooking back up. We are also thinking of putting a pellet stove in the br, where we spend most of our time.

A centrally-located wood stove doesn't make sense given the configuration of this house.

We have the heating guys coming next week to take a look, but I was just wondering if anyone here has any thoughts.

Thanks in advance. I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed with the cost of heating a home in the mountains, and all of the options from which to choose.
