Good luck, but beyond that, your post is scaring me. It takes more than hope to make a good deal on a used vehicle.

PLEASE have it looked over by a trusted mechanic before you close the deal. And get your own verification, from the warrantee company (not the salesman who is trying to make his commission, or the private owner trying to unload this truck), that the policy is transferrable if the vehicle is sold--some aren't. Drive it--and try EVERYTHING in the truck--every accessory (even the AC). And do ask why someone would be getting rid of a truck that's only a couple of years old--most people who buy trucks tend to buy them to use, not for fashion's sake and they more often than not, keep them forever.

Again--I wish you good luck and do hope you get the vehicle you need for the price you want to pay.

I think under 40 and the asking price is 28,200...not bad after you price the new ones LOL Yes Gayle it is alot of truck but is waht we have to have first to pull the 5th wheel and then to go out on the line like he has too you should see the temp roads they make...not good espically after it thaws out....nasty!! Since it's a 2005, it shouldn't have major problems. Good luck, but be sure to have a mechanic check it out before you pay.

My goodness, people buy and sell vehicles every day...and luckily for some of us, many of those are perfectly fine and only a few years old! I'm sure you'll do just great, as you always have. My motto is, "If it's meant to be, then it'll happen!" Keep us posted. *wink*

Hope you get it Stacy.One word of advice if you do get it get the extended warranty that covers everything.Yes,it will cost a bit but usually they will add it to the note.Take it from someone who has had the experience,it will pay you in the long run.Some people will tell you that the expense is not worth it because you probably will never use it,but if we hadn't had it on the used 2004 Ford Ranger (with 64000 miles on it) that we bought 5 months ago we would now be paying for a new motor plus labor! Well over the amount we paid for the warranty and we would have had to dig it up from somewhere! Maybe you will never use it but what if you need it and don't have it??

We got it and it is great. Living in a small town as we do I know the ones who owned it first...and the reason it is already back on th elot for sale....they trade back in every two or 3 years.....gotta keep up with the jones ya know...(or they think they do).....LOL but good deal for us!! STacy
